Summary: The BEST thing about this camera is the swiveling view-screen for self-portraits. It may seem trivial at first until you use it. My wife and I used this to take photos of ourselves in front of landmarks and on hiking trails in Puerto Rico where there's sometimes no one around to take your photo, or when everyone's so busy taking their own photos, they can't be bothered. And let's not forget the language barrier.
Summary: Super fast. Decent glass and tons of options make this a solid buy. THe High Speed function is really nice for technnical analysis but lacks the resolution and image quality to do anything artful. That being said, 1000FPS for 300$...
Summary: First let me say, I was scared to death to purchase a camera in Japanese language setting and not be able to switch it to English. BUT it was so easy to find the setting. Literally took me 3 seconds to figure it out and I'm not that tech savvy! Don't be deterred by this, you can do it. I used the CASIO website, opened up the manual and read up on it before purchasing. So glad I did. This is my 2nd CASIO Exilim.
Summary: I've gone out and played with this camera and I have to say I'm extremely satisfied with it! The features exceed more than I could have imagine. It's great for sports, the kids, or just goofing off. I highly recommend buying this camera.
Summary: Great camera, easy to use, excellent quality pics/videos. I believe the default language is in Chinese, however there is an option to change it into English. I'm very happy with this camera, the only con is that the maximum recording time is in 30min intervals!! As another poster already have mentioned, video recording drains a lot of the battery as well.
Summary: i mainly purchased the camera for the high frame rate to make slow motion videos. i found the 240frame setting to work best for a balance of quality and frame rate and is great for capturing fast human motion. it also has a large variety of setting and functions i didn't know prior to purchasing the camera, i would recommend reading almost the entire manual before using the camera.
