Summary: Love the ease of the menu of all Casio point and shoots, but picture quality is 'eh'..edges of pictures are blurry, photo quality is not clear, and HD video is not good....my 5mp Casio shoots better photo's. Save your money and upgrade to a better quality Casio or go to the Canon Elph series.
Summary: I purchased this camera April 20, 2011. I've tested it out for over a year now...well lets start by saying this camera is ok. Nothing great! I had high hopes for this camera... I bought the pink one because I am a girly girl and absolutely love pink! The color & build of this camera is good. Design wise it is awesome. The camera is sturdy, construction is good, I have dropped this camera 2-3 times on accident and everything seems just fine.
Summary: This camera was cheap and is handy and of light weight - and I am happy to have it for my handbag without having to bother to scratch it or so. If conditions are nice (blue sky, good light source) the pictures are pretty good - but DONT EXPECT MORE. Especially in low light situations the pictures often blur or are just black or really dark. Buy it as an extra camera, but have a better one for important situations.
Summary: I don't really like this camera, i thougth that could be good, cheap but good, but i realize that doesn't exist a camera with that two benefits, if you want a good camera (not professional, but good) you have too spend at least 250$, if you want to give it as a present to a child or your kid this works.
Summary: i purchased this to replace my sanyo s730. it's an "ok" camera. i liked it until i used my mom's new camera, and there was just no comparison. she has a panasonic lumix (one of the lower end models no less) and there really is no comparison. the zoom was blurry, i took pictures of plants, and it was blurry, the automatic mode was worthless imo, and it just didnt seem like an upgrade from my old camera.
Summary: I wanted to give this camera a try because the price was so alluring! I have been a canon fan for a while and after the flash stopped working after 1.5 yrs on my current one, I thought its time to try something else. I'm glad I gave this a shot because the price ($79) was amazing. I printed some pictures off of it recently and compared them to the ones I took with the canon. I didnt see a big difference.
Summary: I have a Casio Exilim 10mp card camera. When I ordered this one, 14mp, I thought all of the Exilim cameras would be the same quality and size as my 1 year-old camera. Don't get me wrong. This camera has nice features to assure good pictures. The video mode has more pixels than my other Exilim in HQ mode (still 720p though). But it's at least twice as thick as my other Exilim. And it feels a little cheap.
Das fast Vollmetallgehäuse macht was her.
