Summary: Bought a replacement for my first EX-S600 which got left at a park. Couldn't live without another one. Small, convenient, inexpensive. Probably waaay outdated by now, but then, so am I. Great customer service.
Summary: Casio Exilim EX-S600 6MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom (Blue) This is my 2nd camera of this kind. Its an old one now with only 6mp but these cameras are just great. Easy to use and the picture is always perfect. I had my other one lke this for about 6 years, took millions of pictures with it and then one day allthe pictures looked like they had too much light in them. Wasnt worth repairing so found another new one on amazon and grabbed that.
Summary: Easy to pack, fits in my tiniest purse, as good at recording movies as it is at taking pictures. Have had this camera for several years with no complaints, but recently had to replace it after a friend spilled soda all over it. :( Found a new replacement here for about a quarter of the retail price. Couldn't ask for more.
Summary: This is my third Casio Exilim EX-s600. It is by far the best little camera I have ever owned. My first one was stolen (lost?) - My second one was dropped in the ocean, (bad idea) but nothing else seems to deter its mission to make quality point and shoot pictures. The only trouble with this camera, they are very hard to find anymore. Even if you have to pay some extra high bucks for a used one on e-bay or Amazon, it's worth it.
Summary: I bought the red (orange?) version of this camera about 4 years ago and it has gone EVERYWHERE with me. Literally in my purse everyday, it has survived the beach, a 7th grade classroom, and hundreds of other venues. I LOVE the size--it fit in a cell phone case (which I could attach to a belt loop!). It took great pictures (comparable to my Canon Rebel XT in auto)--especially considering the portability.
Summary: I have this camera in orange that I bought in Zurich in '05, and I love it. I've used it on 6 bike trips and 2 snowy trips in the Alps and all over the USA and have put thousands of shots and hours of videos through it. But I've never lost it or dropped it. How possible? When I bought it I attached a neck cord and have ALWAYS carried it around my neck (except on airplanes, where it lives in it's little leather case inside my camera bag).
Summary: I bought a used one through Amazon and this camera is excellent, I have been impressed with its digital zoom, its screen, and its ease of use... Its digital zoom is so good, that, look at the picture I uploaded to the customer images page, I can zoom in on a book with small print from 5 feet away and read the page. THis is good enough that I no longer have to pay for copies at my school.
