Summary: This is a very thin camera and it is great for going to restaurants and places where a bigger camera would draw attention. I am satisfied with the quality and the price was good too considering that this was a new, unused camera.
Summary: Liked the camera very much, but just got back from an extended road trip, and in a Clarion Hotel parking lot in San Jose, CA, someone broke both passenger side windows in our car and stole the camera (with several hundred pictures from our trip) and several other items!! So, I will be shopping for another one just like it soon.
Summary: I picked this camera up recently because I was looking for an everyday camera that could do pictures and videos at a reasonable pricepoint. This was the perfect fit for me. The controls and menu are all simple and intuitive to use, no problems at all. The one thing I would recommend for people considering purchasing this is you will definitely want to pick up an extra SD card for this.
Summary: It's been a few weeks since the purchase. Camera is real easy to use. I love the size of it. Only beef I have with this camera is the picture noise. Perhaps it's my lack of knowledge on the settings but my previous casio camera had no such noise. I still like it and am overall happy. Right now the battery life is great.
Summary: Had this camera for a month-no problems. Like the buttons that let you access the photo/video modes which make it easy to switch-also the review picture button is right there without having to go into the menu as in other cameras.
Summary: I gave my wife the camera as a gift to replace her old one. I could not believe all of the features the camera detailed. My wife is very satisfied with the camera and found it simple to operate. I would not be hesitant to recommend this camera to my friends.
Excerpt: I found EX-S12 does take unlimited movies so I happily got the camera and am very satisfied with it. It turns out the asterisk noting limited movie length on the specifications only appplies to the U-Tube mode. (All other movies are only limited to size of memory card). see manual page 189 http://support.casio.com/manualfile.php?rgn=1&cid=001005021.
Not bad, but you'll need to get a bigger capacity SD card

Summary: This Casio EX-S12 was chosen over other compact cameras in the US market, due to its tiny size and price. My intention is to find a super compact but decent camera for my wife to travel with, where a full size DSLR is not desirable. The camera started up quickly but does take about 2-3 seconds between shots (not bad considering that I had the automatic flash on and it'll take time to charge up the capacitor). The buttons and the menu are intuitive and easy to figure out.
