constant image noise and blur!!!

Life Lover, Amazon
26 September 2009
  • Summary: I've had this camera for about 5 months now, and I'm constantly frustrated with the image quality. Often blurry, and always noisy. I'm now in the market for a new camera all together. I almost always have to take a picture two or three times before it's not blurry (isn't this camera supposed to have anti-shake?) and I find the indoor quality to be the most frustrating. I've toyed around with different settings, and nothing seems to be the sure fixer.

Small size, big screen, nice photos... then it broke.

Dave R. "colorado-gadget-moose", Amazon
20 August 2009
  • Summary: Bought this camera for my wife: she loved the stylish red color, big screen, and small size of the camera. Took nice pics. For a week. Then it broke. The power would come on, but the lense would not extend and the camera would not technically "power up". Talked to Casio, they said send it in for repair (at my expense). Sent it back for a refund from J&R, and they were great at processing that. Overall, this was my first, and probably last, Casio camera.

EX-S10

G. Shelton "Magnet", Amazon
24 February 2009
  • Summary: I purchased the EX-S10BK to replace my Casio Exilim 7MP EX-S770. The display screen is the same size and I selected this one because it was as slim as my current one, had the same or more features, had higher mega pixels and thought it would be a great upgrade. I was wrong. My current casio takes far better pictures, there is no delay in flash and image display and unlike the EX-S10 I get a great picture every time.

A good pocket camera with little range or color depth

D. Edelman, Amazon
27 January 2009
  • Summary: I've had this camera for a year now. While its portable and has a nice big screen, I have found that its image sensor and the resulting quality are pretty poor. Often I find that the white balance sensor cannot find the right tonal values and the images end up being blown out or orange. Instead of giving the user direct access to the camera features you have to use a set of pre-made oddly named modes.

Still good, but not as good as the previous model

P. Nash "Crazy Computer Guy", Amazon
20 December 2008
  • Summary: I'm a die-hard fan of the Casio Exilim S line since the very first model came out. I haved owned at least 5 different models and usually buy the newest one as soon as it's out. Casio has a track record of making each one better than the last, but I think they slipped a little bit on the EX-S10. The is the previous 8MP model, and I'm going to recommend that you buy that instead of the 10MP version. Why? Image quality.

Two steps forward, but two steps back

Franklin, Amazon
29 April 2008
  • Summary: This camera is a bit of a missed opportunity. I've owned two previous Casio Exilim Card-series cameras in this same line. With each iteration, the camera gets better, and this one is no exception with respect to size, which is a big deal. The whole point of this camera is how small and therefore useable it is--you can take it to parties etc. It's smaller and more detailed than ever, and that's two steps forward.

Camera is NOT red

LAdude77, Amazon
12 March 2008
  • Summary: Just to let everyone know, this camera is not red like the 880. It is more of a purple/pink. As a man, I do not want a pink camera, I wanted a red one...BestBuy calls it "Plum" which is way more accurate than Red. But, I have gotten over that and actually used the camera. It is a very nice little camera. SO small and slim. It makes the canon S850 look large. It is almost as slim as my iPhone, and shorter. Perfect for my jeans pocket.

Casio Exilim EX - S10

SPOKJJ, MercadoLibre
25 May 2013

URSINHO_RN, MercadoLibre
25 May 2013
