Summary: I was in the process of upgrading my previous 12mp Casio Exilim to this model. Wow, what happened? I charged the battery and ran through all the features. My older model has a USB dock. To charge the camera and copy the photos off, all I needed to do was dock the camera and press a button.
Summary: I use my Casio H-30 daily for my business. The date stamp is crucial for documentation. Easy to use, crystal clear photos, long battery life. Less expensive than my H-20. Would have paid more. Fits in a shirt pocket. Long battery life. Will buy another one, until the next model comes out.
Excerpt: I needed something to be held almost everytime in the pocket; after a market search and a deep look on dpreview and other sites I was convinced to buy the Exlim H-30. It defeated challengers like Lumix TZ-18, Fuji Finepix F500, Nikon Coolpix 9100 for the lower price, for the long-lasting battery,...
Summary: I purchased this camera after my old one packed up... what a mistake! This camera is AWFUL in every regard. I found the camera completely unusable... Firstly it takes foreeeevvvveeeeerrrrr to take each and every photo and secondly after all that the picture quality is abysmal!
Summary: The picture quality is really good. It's so simple to use as a holiday camera, but that is about as far as you can go. The features do offer some advanced photography, but I was not that impressed. But that could be my lack of skills. The battery life is amazing which is the main reason I got it.
Summary: I had a casio Exilim before, but this new one it is far better than the previous. it has a long batterie life and a lot of extra programs, panorama, choose your iso, ect. I am very excited about this camera. Defenitely good value for money.
Summary: Camera is more bulky than my last Casio model, so needed a deeper case. It shoots good pictures on premium auto but best shot defeats me, it probably needs more handbook study: something never had to do on old model. It is not a simple shoot and best shot camera but results are very good.
Summary: This is my second Casio exelim compact camera and my most expensive one to date! This Casio camera, like the first, worked for me out of the box. It has an intuitive feel to it and doesn't present any challenges to the casual user.
