Summary: when we look up anywhere for a good item and good price I am surecasio has the whole package , i have owned many casio cameras and watches and i can say how reliable and unexpensive they are. just buy one and you will see. even used I can tell.
Summary: How many times have you bought a nice new camera and then a little water gets on it and it rouined, or the ejecting lens get stuck. i was tired of that happening to me so i got a camera i can literaly drop in the ocean and its fine. Thais thing is built for regular people taking pictures of regular stuff. Dont think its just for SCUBA diver and rock climbers. its built to withstand the impact humans put on their cameras daily.
Summary: Nice camera, takes average pictures like most point and shoot cameras I have owned, the videos are not as good (not HD). A nice feature of this camera is separate shutter buttons for photos and video so you can do either in an instant. I probably won't put this camera in the water, according to other reviewers, Casio won't honor water damage.
Summary: Your not going to find a tougher camera. To make a long story short about a week after I bought this camera( 200 bucks is one hell of a deal for this thing by the way ) this camera and I went for a wild ride across interstate 94. We rolled over five times, only a few things made it out of the vehicle intact.
Summary: This camera has average picture quality and a feature set that is slightly fewer than average for a camera of this price. What was the selling point for me was it interval picture feature. I wanted a simple point and shoot that I could set up to make time laspe photos of events. The issue not listed any where in the product description is that the interval setting will only last for a maximum of 30 minutes.
Summary: When I first got this camera, I loved it. I used it in the pool and snorkeling in Hawaii. I was hoping that this would be my all-in-one camera for both water and non-water activites. However, the EX-G1 was a little too big, and after a while the slow startup time annoyed me. It takes a while from pressing the power button until you can take a picture. That started to drive me crazy.
Summary: I bought this camera just for this trip. I was taking picture at the beach suddenly the camera stop taking picture, turned off and stopped working. I was so sad because it was the very first time using my camera. The camera got wet but I never put the camera under the water. Very dissapointed of this product. DO NOT BUY IT..... Maybe this camera works in the pool but not in the beach ...
Summary: Bought this camera hoping it will be waterproof as Olympus 1030SW, but when first time came with this camera into lake, it stops working in 2 minutes. NEVER, NEVER buy this camera, if you attending put it somewhere closer than 5 m to any water surface. It is absolutely UNwaterproof, made bad unsharp images, very weak flash - only 1-2 meters, no wide focus, low picture quality, long time while on. THIS IS NOT WATERPROOF CAMERA!!!!
Summary: i go through a lot of electronics because im very hard on them. this camera has with held river floats and mountain biking and bar hopping while still taking the best pictures for this price range and snap and shoot type of camera. it takes the pics fast so u wont miss the moment and is lightweight small and easy to carry.
