Casio Exilim G EX-G1

PC Magazine
3 April 2010
  • Conclusion: The Casio Exilim G EX-G1 offers a ruggedized build in a surprisingly slim, compact body, but image quality isn't this shooter's strong suit.
  • Pros: Low price for a ruggedized camera. Thin, attractive build. Waterproof up to 10 feet. Can survive drops up to 7 feet. Can operate in temperatures as low as 14ºF
  • Cons: Soft images. No protective lens cover. Slow recycle times between shots. Dated user interface.

Casio EXILM EX-G1

  • Conclusion: With a price-tag of over £250 Casio have been too ambitious with this model. There is nothing dramatically different added to the market here and there are better alternatives available.

Casio Exilim EX-G1 is tough, but its images may look rough

Good Gear Guide.au
3 March 2010
  • Summary: The Casio Exilim EX-G1 is certainly rugged -- but you're paying more for durability, not great images.
  • Pros: Practically no shutter lag for one-off shots; withstands drops, water and cold temperatures
  • Cons: Takes MicroSD/MicroSDHC cards rather than SD/SDHC; hard to operate with big hands or gloves; very slow shot-to-shot lag

Casio EX-G1 review

  • Summary: A decent snapper with a mighty level of toughness. Don’t expect fantastic snaps though, unless you’re a David Bailey-quality photog
  • Pros: Built like a photographic tank, waterproof to boot, skinny and lightweight
  • Cons: Washed-out pics, low-res screen, high minimum focussing distance

Casio Exilim EX-G1 digital camera

Pocket Lint
16 February 2010
  • Conclusion: We had fun using the EX-G1 and while we admired its looks, we found that occasionally practicality had been sacrificed to achieve the esoteric design. Adrenaline junkies may be prepared to pay the premium for the Casio Exilim EX-G1 and be happy with slightly fuzzy snaps to recall their exploits, but photo enthusiasts wanting images pin sharp and properly exposed for the wall, portfolio or family album have cause to look elsewhere.
  • Pros: Cool (if occasionally impractical) design, lightweight, fun to use, user friendly for the most part, toughened qualities
  • Cons: Variable image quality, which on the whole resembles the output from a digital camcorder that also shoots stills, plus priced at a slight premium because of its toughened attributes

Casio Exilim EX-G1

CNET
12 August 2010

  • Conclusion: Sen muotoilu on myös virtaviivainen, perinteisestä laatikkomallista poikkeava. Kameran iskunkestävyyttä voi lisätä mukana tulevalla ylimääräisellä pehmusteella kameran päätyyn. Päädyn korttiluukku avautuu pyöritettävällä rullalla ja alla on ...

Test: Casio Exilim EX-G1 (Digitalkamera)

CHIP Online
17 May 2010
  • Cons: Kein Weitwinkel, Kein Bildstabilisator, Kein HD-Video-Modus

Casio Exilim EX-G1: Outdoorkamera mit exotischem Design

CNET
9 March 2010
