Summary: I love having this cam with me for doing slo-motion. Everything else about this camera is sub-par, but I don't care. I bought it to do slo-mo, and it does it great. If you have kids, play sports, or anything else that moves fast, you will have a great time with this. As soon as someone makes a cheap, pocket, slo-mo with higher resolution, I'll have this one with me. But when that day comes, I jump ship.
Summary: I've had this camera/camcorder for over a year. It takes a little getting used to due to all the many features it provides. (not a bad thing at all) It's hard to believe how well this thing is as a high speed camcorder and the slow-motion video is just as terrific. You can get one on a deal if you look around. Seems like I paid just over $100 or so. Only downers are battery life and low light situations.
Summary: The "Casio Exilim EX-FS10 9MP" is a great camera, it has a fast start up, takes great pics, and high speed video, its slim, compact and the only thing negative I have to say is the battery life, having an extra battery would help,I like to review my pics and show them off to friends but it drains the battery.
Summary: This cam is great, best priced high speed cam on the market.. its not pro style, but it does capture stunning Hd and great high speed shoots for it size and price. Its low light could be better, But its the high speed shooting that makes this camera really worth it.. And as with any high speed photography, You just need more light. The camera is taking more pics faster, so you need more light. simple as can be. Its also soooo small, and durable.
Summary: I bought this camera in December of 2010 for about $90, and for that price there is no competition. I use it almost exclusively for taking slow motion videos of my golf swing, at for that there is no alternative. Casio is the only manufacturer that makes affordable slow motion digital cameras, and this is their least expensive.
Summary: This is a really brilliant little camera. I bought one last year and broke it (my own fault) and I liked it so much, I bought another identical one to replace it. Which I wouldn't normally do, but with 720p HD video, and 410fps slow motion (up to 1000fps) I made an exception. Regardless of the extra features, it also functions well as a normal camera, I'm very pleased and for the price, this really is a brilliant buy, recommend to anyone.
Summary: This is a freaking awesome camera for the price. I am 14 and I bought it because it was a great deal, I needed a camera, and I was interested in high speed videos. If you want to see some videos shot with it, visit my YouTube channels Techwizzy and SL0WitD0WN (the 0's are zeros). There is so much to say about it but I will just do pros and cons. Pros: Small! Definitely fits in any pocket.
Summary: I bought this in 2010 and I could not be happier with it. The photos are fantastic - no one can believe I get photos this great from an inexpensive camera. The only draw back I can see is battery life. I recommend always having several charged batteries with you.
Summary: I teach college physics/engineering and heard about Casio's high speed capabilities at a conference. I was interested in seeing how well the high speed video features worked since I had always wanted to try this out. In a word: UNBELIEVABLE!! I can take all sorts of videos and pictures I had only dreamed of taking before. I was very busy so I gave the camera to a student who had no photographic experience and let her play with it.
