  • Summary: Excellent little point and shoot. I have used Casio in the past and this is a replacement for my old Casio Exilim. Pictures are quite good and have enjoyed this so far.

I have had this for almost a year! and love it!

Leslie Persons, Amazon
29 May 2014
  • Summary: I have bought several digital cameras in the past, kodak, canon, and others. I wanted something that would take fast moving shots of my pups playing. This camera does an excellent job of taking action shots! Also the battery life is unbelievable, and goes and goes and goes.....easy to use with features I love.

  • Summary: Have had it for 6 months now and read the manual twice but still continue to find amazing new features it has. Great image quality and movie options. Happy with the purchase and it was actually $40 more back when I got it.

Supposedly not sold in this country and all text in Japanese

Joanne L. Bean, Amazon
23 February 2014
  • Summary: I bought this camera, because I THOUGHT it was the same one I had just borrowed from my son, Rick, for a vacation. He sent me a link and I ordered it. The entire instruction booklet is entirely in Japanese. When I attempted to charge it, the 2 plugs didn't have the same ends to connect. I found there was an adapter that went between them. Once charged, the menus inside the camera where all in Japanese. Rick walked me through changing the language.

Excellent pocket camera

Michael Krapacs, Amazon
18 February 2014
  • Summary: More features and functions than I have ever seen in a point and shoot camera. 16 megapixel resolution is sharp. Great camera for an amateur. Not only compatible with my Eye-fi card, Eye-fi card power can be turned off in menu to save battery life. Great buy.

May work for you if you read Japanese.

William F.Hahn, Amazon
29 January 2014
  • Summary: This may be a fine camera but the enclosed "directions" are entirely in Japanese, so I really can't say. After opening the box Amazon sent I was entirely lost as to setting it up for use. I assumed that first the the battery had to be charged but there seemed to be no obvious way to even do that that. Is a separate charger needed?, I don't know. If Amazon is selling this item it should provide user instructions in English.

Casio EZ-R400.SR

James Norris, Amazon
4 January 2014
  • Summary: No manual with camera. I printed from Web. Manual difficult to understand and has very poor layout, must shift back and forth from pages. Easy to hit movie button while pressing picture 'shoot' button. The thumb easily rest on the movie start button. Camera on-off is not easy to press without having long finger nails.

User Review

KenIso, DP Review
2 December 2013
  • Excerpt: A sample of panoramic pictures taken by EX-ZR400 EXILIM-ZR400 from CASIO, the company which produced the first digital camera in Japan, completed a camera that seems to demonstrate rapid development of Japanese camera technology. I can say this product is low-priced, amazing, and easy to use. It’s worth recommending to people of a wide range, from beginners to experts.
