Summary: I bought a digital camera about 4 weeks ago. I bought it for my grandchildren to learn how to use one before I bought them a new one. I liked the price for a used camera that was suppose to only have a cracked lens and a little ware and tare. Great the learn on. I received it in a timely manner. I didn't like the way it was mailed. There was no protection around the camera which caused the lens to be broken. This is the first time I received a a broken product.
Summary: I've had this camera for about two years. While it did take good pictures, it's a brick now; I'm seeing that "lens error" message that apparently happens when the lens tries to pop out but can't, causing the small servo motors to "smoke". I've read that this can happen if certain buttons are accidentally pressed while the camera is in your pocket or carrying case.
Summary: I'm a photographer, but I bought this camera for my girlfriend (who wanted it because it was pink), and even though I normally recommend Canons, especially for point-and-shoots, I succumbed to the color for her. It was a mistake. The camera's pictures are just OK, but it's strange, on the LCD screen all the pictures look blurry, so you just have to trust that they are sharp in the file.
Summary: Mine broke of course directly after the warranty ran out. I didnt do anything to it, it just stopped working, or the shutter stayed closed and never opened back up. Keeps saying lens error. Looking for another camera, anyone know of a good one?
Summary: I got this camera a while ago to have a small, slim camera I could fit into my pocket, prom bag, wherever and I could just use as a point and shoot. Well, it fits in my pocket, but that's just about it. I've only gotten a few good pictures out of this camera - the rest all turn out with dull colors, blurry, or grainy. Even if I was standing perfectly still with my subject not moving, it'd still be slightly blurry.
Summary: Very disappointed with this camera for the following reasons: 1. Short Battery Life 2. Many pictures using auto focus were not in focus 3. You Tube video mode does not allow you to pause then continue filming, once you stop your done with that video. 4. Low quality night shots. Some good points: 1. Very slim 2. Good macro shots Overall this camera is a 1-STAR! Buy a Canon Elph like me! The battery does not run out even after watching many videos!
