Dc Resource
27 December 2007
  • Excerpt: For a long time, if you wanted a "big zoom" camera, you had to buy a bulky ultra zoom model. Things have started to change though, with ultra-compact, high zoom cameras from Canon, Casio, Pentax, and Sharp now available.
  • Pros: Very good photo quality (though see issues below), 7X zoom in a compact body -- wow, CCD-shift image stabilization (though see issue below), Good build quality for the price; memory card slot on the side, High res 2.5" LCD display, Snappy performance, Full manual controls (though see below), Tons of Best Shot (scene) modes, Redeye not a problem, Several unique features, including continuous flash mode, dynamic range adjustment, family face recognition, YouTube Uploade...
  • Cons: A little too much noise reduction applied, especially at ISO 200 and above; occasional blown highlights, ISO locked at Auto in shutter priority mode; only three aperture choices available at any time in A/M modes, Weak flash, Mechanical image stabilization not available in movie mode, Annoying sliding lens cover; no optical viewfinder, Continuous shooting mode is sluggish at full resolution, Face detection system did not perform as well as other cameras, Dock required...

Casio Exilim EX-V8 Review

Digital Camera Review
4 October 2007
  • Excerpt: The Casio Exilim EX-V8 is Casio's second ultra-compact, ultra-zoom digital camera.  Its predecessor, the V7, was introduced in January 2007, and Casio decided to follow it up pretty quickly, with the V8 being announced at the end of August 2007.  The V8 offers 8.1 megapixel resolution, a 7x optical zoom, CCD-shift image stabilization, 2.5 inch LCD, and a YouTube video mode in a body that is only an inch thick.

Casio Exilim EX-V8

8 August 2014
  • Conclusion: The Casio Exilim EX-V8 does offer something different to the majority of digital cameras with extra zoom in a compact body. Although the camera is capable of bright photos, picture quality is a bit patchy in places.
  • Pros: Design (a lot packed into a small body) - ease of use
  • Cons: Macro shot - lack of sharpness when zoom at maximum - very strong colours

2009 Kia Borrego EX V8

14 May 2009
  • Excerpt: Funny (well, not funny-haha) how Kia reminds me of Hyundai. To me, Kia is the brand nobody wants to touch and the one that needs to compete on price, just like Hyundai had to do barely five years ago. Now that Hyundai is up there with the Toyotas and Hondas and GMs of the world on my list of car manufacturers to choose from, let’s see if Kia can make the list.

Casio Exilim Ex V8

29 July 2013

8 July 2009
  • Summary: A Casio a világ legnagyobb zoomátfogású rejtett optikás gépét készítette el, amikor az Exilim EX-V8-at megalkotta. Jöjjön tehát a szupervékony szuperzoom „rövid” bemutatója.
