No other cameras beat it for the price

Summary: Let me begin by saying that going into this purchase, I knew nothing about cameras. However, I knew that I wanted: 1. A camera that films in 1080p 2. A camera that was under $400 3. Something lightweight and user friendly I have received all of these requirements.
Summary: Love the camera, but the accessories are a JOKE!! Was nice to get the extra battery though so I can always have a charged back up. Takes great pics and zooms good too. I haven't figured out all the features yet though.

Summary: Got this for my eldest grandaughter,15 yrs old, wanting to get into photography.i read many reviews on different namebrands and price levels, and found this to be the one to fit the bill. So far she loves the camera, and is still learning all its functions.

Summary: Nice camera for the price. I do have an occasional problem with getting the camera to focus; not sure what I'm doing wrong to have it do this as it seems to be a random occurrence for me. I do notice that sometimes pictures seem "washed-out" in stronger sunlight..
Summary: Liking it very much. I had a s500s powershot (elph) for many years and it held up well to the abuse it received being bounced all around the globe (metal casing). Finally, it refused to import pix to my computer and I needed an update/upgrade. This sx510 hs fills the bill nicely.
