Excellent telephoto camera for the pricepoint with some limitations

Summary: I purchased this camera for my wife. She needed a telephoto lens to take pictures and movies of my daughter for her performances at school for plays and the choir. The accessories that accompany this camera include a carrying strap, battery, charger, AV cable, and lens cap. The construction is a plastic body in a light and compact footprint. It is small enough for my wife to carry or place into her purse without being cumbersome.
Summary: This camera is very compact and light but works great. The zoom is terrific and the pictures come out looking real good. My wife has had trouble with shake and focus. This camera seems to take time to focus and shake seems to be all but elimated. It doesn't take pictures really fast but so much the better that it takes the time it needs to make adequate adjustments before actually snapping the shot. Features for special shots are great if you read the manual.
Summary: The photos are amazing and the camera's 30x optical allows for excellent range. Also, there is a "discreet" setting so you can snap away and people do not hear the shutter. Great feature. The kit that came with the camera had everything I need. Love the card reader, too.
Summary: This really arrived quickly..It has a lot of accessories and was convenient to have a ready made kit. The camera itself is great! I have another Canon PowerShot that is much heavier and larger. I have had 2 neck surgeries and needed a more light weight model. So this with its' nice zoom range works out well.
Summary: I got this camera one (1) year ago as a gift from my dearest one. I never tested before taking shots 100-300 meters away not until I took vacation with my dear staying at 35th floor Grand Towers residence which gives me high satisfaction of the results. Taking window-shots from 35th floor overlooking 7th floor level where the swimming pool is laid, neighboring bus terminal and high rise buildings as far as 300 meters.
Pros: Compact, Cost-Wise, and Yet Powerful comparable to entry level DSLR
Cons: Capable enough for bright and low light condition (ISO 100-1600) & not detachable lense.
