Summary: The camera is possibly ok if you just want to take pictures, but if you want to take short video clips too then look elsewhere. The battery only lasts for at most 50 shots. If you take a video it could be as little as a couple of minutes.
Summary: Don't waste your money. A nice camera ruined by software glitches. Use the zoom, and the camera will shut down telling you to recharge the battery, regardless of actual battery life. Sometimes you can fool it by changing the settings and it'll all start up again, but by then the shot is long gone.
Summary: Battery life is awful. The 260 is almost identical to it and cheaper. It seems to take better photos in some conditions and has around twice the battery life. I have upgraded the firmware but no improvement. Customer service was poor too.
Summary: Really disappointed with this camera, yes it suffers from the low battery life warning which I should have researched before purchase , the problem is certainly not an isolated one, Firmware was updated to the latest version , Great pity because image quality was great.
Summary: Good device for those who are not too demanding with photography. The device is simple but efficient. The photos are clear and defined enough for small size output printing. But huge Cons: after only 1 month, there is a dust inside the lens that let a big black area on each photo!
Summary: Do not buy this camera--it has excellent properties but they are useless if the battery does not allow you to use it. There is something seriously wrong with this item. I have wasted £140 on this thing but will walk away and buy something else.
Summary: What killed this camera for me is that you have to take out the batteries and charge them in a separate cradle. For me, this means it has barely been used. It was an unfortunate oversight on my own part when purchasing the camera.
