  • Excerpt: I have only had my ** Canon PowerShot SX20 IS Digital Camera for a couple months but I love it.  It is easy to use with lots of options.  I love the picture quality, the image stabilizer is a great feature.  I learn how to use a different feature everytime I use it, which is 3-4 times a week.

  • Excerpt: Great camera!  I'm not an expert picture taker, and this camera makes it easy, esp with the auto setting. Definately recommend for the novice who wants to move up to the next level in digital cameras.

  • Excerpt: I bought a Cannon Power Shot sx20 2 years ago formyself as a birthday present for ME>  I was single at the time and was not expecting anything really nice and cheap from my friends and I don't have  family to speak of back then anyway but I wanted a nice camera.  I was sick of the poloroyds or the pics that come out right away for you.

  • Excerpt: I love my Canon Powershot SX20IS!!! It is really easy to use!  There are tons of features, but I'm not going to lie it can be confusing! Pros: lots of features and fun ones too. You can change the sounds the camera makes to appeal to whatever you are taking. For christmas I used Christmas sounds it was really cute! There is a panoramic feature as well, but I haven't exactly figured out how to use it yet. LOVE the screen...

  • Excerpt: I was looking for a camera with lots of functions and features, versatility, that takes good quality photos and videos and decided on the Canon SX20IS. I am partial to Canon in general since I have been very happy with all my past Canon experiences, opposed to my Nikon experiences.  I didn't want to buy a DLSR because I didn't want to have to worry about learning about all the different lenses and carrying a million of them out with me everytime I wanted to take some...

  • Excerpt: After using Panasonic cameras for several years, I recently switched to Canon. Their cameras are top quality, though I actually like the lenses more on Panasonics. This camera boasts a ton of great features, but if you're not familiar with SLRs you might get a little lost. I recommend that you take the time to carefully read the instructions and don't just rush in to using it. Bottom line, these Canon cameras are top notch.

  • Excerpt: The SX 20IS is defintely a huge improvement over its predecessor SX10 not just in the image quality and the zoom but also in the speed. I had tested the SX10IS an opted for a S2IS instead but when I got the SX20IS the pictures were amazing at full optical zoom. More functionality and handling ease really is a plus.

Plays alongside the big boys - for half the price!

  • Excerpt: Although larger and heavier than a typical point and shoot, the SX20IS produces results that are well worth any small annoyances created by its girth. This camera is packed with features and offers many of the same capabilities found in digital SLR's, for less than half the price. You can choose the Auto setting and let the camera do all the work for you - you just pop up the flash if need be and then press the shutter.

Canon PowerShot has become the only camera we buy

  • Excerpt: We've been buying Canon for the past 9 years now. The camera itself is very durable and easy to use. It is packed with features but not so many that an a amateur photographer would be unable to learn to use it well. The auto-focus works well and takes clear photos. The colors are vivid and though it has a great zoom, it's not that big. Sometimes, in cold weather, the camera lags a bit but not too significantly.

  • Excerpt: I spent the better part of three months,,, trying friends and relatives cameras,,, I was very hesitant at first,,, as I was switching from the good ole fashioned film developing kind of camera, to a didgital, and was very rediscent about the ease of use, the quality of hsots, and not having my pictures on film, via the negative.
