Great Camera but Difficult Focus at times

Summary: This is a great camera. The video quality is amazing and the pictures look professional. It's great for zooming in on birds outside my window. I was really happy when I realized there is a macro lens feature, meaning you can take close up pictures of things and get them really detailed (example:...
Summary: I got the powershot 160 to replace a powershot 120. I was fairly happy with the 120 except for its lack of wide angle capability. The 160 gave me wide angle plus a slightly greater telephoto range. It also has a convenient separate single press button for video shots.

Summary: The SX100 series of Canon cameras is for the hobbyist photographer (not the professional) who does not require one of Canon's subcompact, capable and cute but tiny Elphs (the SD series) or the upscale S100 series or the superior, faster version of this one--the SX200 series The SX160 and 170 are not...

Summary: Just got this and its seems great so far. Got this as an Xmas gift for the wife. Typical excellent Canon, I've had two other Canons before. One thing that you might want to note is that it does not come with a memory card. I had several laying around, so no problem for me.
Summary: Only problem was with the batteries that came with the charger. Batteries never got full charged, even after a whole night charging and it would last very little. I had to switch off after taking pictures to try to save energy. Otherwise a very good bundle and good quality pictures.
Summary: we like it, arrived on time.takes great pics,as some have reviewed rechargeable batteries that come with it are not good.beginning to wonder if flaw with camera because turn off and immediately back on and battery warning is gone.Have read about a firm ware update from canon, but have yet to try.
Summary: I had a Canon S50 for years, used my cell phone camera for a few and decided I needed a real camera when I got a bull terrier pup. I have used Canon products for years - still have my old AE-1 - so this was an easy choice; especially given it uses 2 AA batteries of any brand.
Summary: We bought this camera as a gift for our youngest daughter. She found it easy to use and is now taking a beginner camera class. This camera has many of the same features as our much more expensive Cannon Rebel camera!
