Excerpt: I'm travelling with this camera for a year and already have some experience with it. Is good for still pictures - ex. landscapes and portraits. I really enjoy zoom range and manual functions. It's good to learn basics of photography before you buy DSLR.
Summary: The positives: 16x optical zoom, uses AA batteries, fits nicely in hand and flash is in a convenient spot unlike a Nikon (which is right above your left finger), can zoom while doing movies, movies are very nice and convenient to start and stop.
Summary: I don't like writing negative reviews ... or reading them for that matter, however, I did return this camera. Even though it's almost unheard of for me to return anything, photos are important to me especially to have record and memories at hand of our children and family.

Summary: The pictures it takes are okay, but you have to wait for the flash to recharge so you miss shots. Plus if you need flash, it has to tell you to open the flash to use it; it's not automatic, at least I haven't been able to figure out how to change settings if this shouldn't be the case
Summary: Overall I really like this camera. It's just the battery! It eats up batteries horribly! I can't even go a whole day on one set of batteries! 2 double A's won't last for as long as I want them to! ):
Summary: Je regrette d'avoir acheté cette appareil photo car il n'est vraiment pas à la hauteur de mon ancien Canon SX100 IS. Vraiment déçu de la qualité photo et les images semblent mal définies, elles ne semblent pas nettes.
Summary: Not a fan of this camera. Ended up giving it to a friend who did not have one and bought a different one. A few things I recall about it that I did not like was 1) while video recording the lens zoom was very loud which ruined a nights worth of live music performances I recorded 2) batteries die far...
