Summary: I have been using Kodak cameras for the past 10-12 yrs as part of my job to verify shipments. the Kodak cameras would break after a yr or so and I would have to replace it. since I had always paid for the extended warranty I never thought about purchasing a different make until my last camera. upon advice from a photographer I purchased this camera and the rest is history. I averaged 30+ pictures a day for the last 5 months without a glitch.
Summary: This camera is very user friendly. There is no need to take classes to learn how to shoot dynamic photos with it. Almost every feature you need in a camera in this price range is right there at your finger tips. Read the manual, practice a little and before you know it, you're taking quality pictures that you would never thought possible. It is the perfect match for the money conscious buyer. Highly recommended.
I should have purchased it sooner and i would have many more pictures

I like every thing about the camera it takes wonderful pictures and it does every thing I need plus it takes video it is so easy to operate I especially like the shake feature and the eye blink feature you cant hardly get better than that and the price was great
Excerpt: I received a new camera for my birthday a few weeks back. It was a gift from my in-laws. They had probably heard how much I was into photography. I opened the package and found the new Canon PowerShot SX 150 sitting snugly along with its peripherals. It has revolutionized my experience with capturing inanimate and animate objects totally over a short span of time. The camera has a lot of exciting features which I would like to discuss in the review.
Summary: I had read the reviews...I was a little wary after reading the reviews that said it used up the batteries too fast, so I bought the rechargeable variety. I haven't noticed that it uses them too quickly..I think it's the best digital camera I've ever had. There are so many features, I have been using this camera for 6 months and still haven't gotten around to discovering them all.
Summary: The camera was purchased to replace a Canon camera purchased 5 years ago. The old camera worked well but this one was on sale and had a better optical zoom. When I started using the camera I noticed it worked much better in low light conditions and with the increased megepixels produced much better pictures. It was easy to crop the pictures later and still have plenty of definition left.
Summary: Great camera, excellent zoom. Only downside is the delay in between pictures for flash to charge. You also have to be careful to let it focus before taking the picture. Pictures are great and clear when you do this. If not, you will end up with blurry pictures. Even takes photos at night.
Summary: I followed the guide of another feedback about buying this camera and also getting the Eneloop 2000mAh rechargeable batteries with charger. Let me just say I'm 100% satisfied. We went to NYC for the first time ever and this camera and one set(2) of batteries(fully charged) lasted me the entire 4 days I was there. I took over 150+ pictures and each turned out flawless, and I am not a person that takes a lot of photos on a normal basis.
