Summary: Camera worked great. At 14 months, it locked up -- froze in the middle of a Hawaiian vacation. I looked into getting it fixed, which was too pricey to be worthwhile. My last digital Canon also locked up at the 24-month mark, meaning I will never buy a Canon again.
Summary: I should have listen to the other reviews!!!!! There is some kind of deficit with this camera that it goes through batteries in one to two sessions. I can't tell you how many important events I have missed because my batteries go dead and the camera shuts down. I even carry stacks of batteries around which is not fun at all. I wanted something quick and convenient and this is not it. I am serious considering writing a letter to Canon. Don't waste your money!!!!
Summary: This is the WORST Canon camera I've ever owned. There is no battery life and I have tried all types of batteries including rechargeable. Last night I tried to take a video of the fireworks. Three sets of new batteries and and 1 set of newly recharged batteries in 20 minutes!! What a waste I've had this camera for a year and this isn't the first time this has happened. I'm sorry I ever bought it. I gave 1 star for color. Thank heaven for IPod cameras.
Summary: I bought this when my previous model bit the dust. I read the reviews and didn't think much about the battery comments. The older model was a battery eater. It needed new batteries every week, but the quality of picture was great. This model is a hundred times worse! I use my camera at least every other day. I have been very careful to make sure it is completely OFF and not in viewing mode when I put it away.
This is not what you think it is... it's grey market camera

Summary: Some china knock off? We had the 120 IS camera purchased in the store and it took better pics. This is not a good camera. Cheap, cheap, cheap. Button selection isn't where it should be and the focus is off. What do you do about that when it's an auto digital camera? Buy something else. I wish I had read the negative reviews.
Summary: I am very unhappy with this camera. I had a fabulous canon before. Battery life is terrible, and waiting for the flash to charge up - just forget about getting the picture. I am trashing this camera and getting a different one. I think I've spent more money on batteries than on the camera after 4 months. Do not buy this camera unless you only take 1 or 2 pictures a year.
Summary: I'm starting to develop an opinion about Canon cameras and it isn't a good one. I know there are lots of Canon devotees out there, but every model I've owned or played with has been a disappointment. The specs and reviews of the SX150 IS were good... 14.1 MP and a nice long 12x zoom. I liked the fact that you could choose aperture priority or shutter priority (if you know what those things mean then you'll appreciate having them).
Summary: This camera is not what I thought it was going to be. The shutter speed is VERY slow. By the time the picture actually takes it's not what you were looking at on the screen UNLESS the subject is posed very still. Between each photo taken also the camera has to "charge the flash" and also it says "busy" and you can't take a picture until the screen clears and is in focus again. This is not what I wanted in a camera and am actually in the process of returning it.
Summary: I almost gave it two stars, but if you cannot use a camera and send it back (and have said "I hate this camera" several times), then it only gets one star. Batteries (brand new rechargeable eneloop batteries) got chewed up with moderate use. Really, if you went somewhere you might take a lot of pictures over a full day, you might need two sets of backup batteries.
