Summary: Camera worked great. At 14 months, it locked up -- froze in the middle of a Hawaiian vacation. I looked into getting it fixed, which was too pricey to be worthwhile. My last digital Canon also locked up at the 24-month mark, meaning I will never buy a Canon again.
Summary: I should have listen to the other reviews!!!!! There is some kind of deficit with this camera that it goes through batteries in one to two sessions. I can't tell you how many important events I have missed because my batteries go dead and the camera shuts down.
Summary: This is the WORST Canon camera I've ever owned. There is no battery life and I have tried all types of batteries including rechargeable. Last night I tried to take a video of the fireworks. Three sets of new batteries and and 1 set of newly recharged batteries in 20 minutes!!
Summary: I bought this when my previous model bit the dust. I read the reviews and didn't think much about the battery comments. The older model was a battery eater. It needed new batteries every week, but the quality of picture was great. This model is a hundred times worse!
This is not what you think it is... it's grey market camera

Summary: Some china knock off? We had the 120 IS camera purchased in the store and it took better pics. This is not a good camera. Cheap, cheap, cheap. Button selection isn't where it should be and the focus is off. What do you do about that when it's an auto digital camera? Buy something else.
Summary: I am very unhappy with this camera. I had a fabulous canon before. Battery life is terrible, and waiting for the flash to charge up - just forget about getting the picture. I am trashing this camera and getting a different one.
Summary: I bought this to replace my S2-IS (black screen of death). I should have saved up for an SX40 or a DSLR. I had battery issues until I went with good rechargeables (Eneloop work great!). Indoor shooting is horrible, the auto mode is worthless (shutter speed too slow for my shaky hands).
Pros: Cheap zoom camera that is small and can almost fit in your pocket. Uses rechargeable AA batteries (I suggest Eneloop, as the older NiMh that I had would only give much less than 50 shots before being 'dead'.) I cannot stress how important it is to use good batteries, or you will be come frustrate...
Cons: Horrible low light and flash performance. Do not believe the 1600 ISO performance, the camera can barley do 400 to 800 ISO. Image noise starts to become a significant problem. I have to send my camera back to Canon, as the backup battery failed in under 2 months (30 day return policy at Best Buy,...
Summary: I'm starting to develop an opinion about Canon cameras and it isn't a good one. I know there are lots of Canon devotees out there, but every model I've owned or played with has been a disappointment. The specs and reviews of the SX150 IS were good... 14.1 MP and a nice long 12x zoom.
