User Friendly - Quality Pictures - Great Price! Not Rocket Science!
22 April 2013
Summary: I bought this camera to replace the one I was using, which I dropped and broke. It truly is a point and click camera. Easy to use and takes excellent pictures. Great price too!! I tried an olympus point and shoot, but was not quite as user friendly nor did the pictures compare. I love, love, love this camera. You do not need an expensive camera to take good quality pictures.
Summary: This model is by far the best I have ever owned for a compact zoom. I tried the Sx150 but did not like it at all. I used this camera on a recent vacation to Germany. We were driving at high speeds on the autobahn and I was still able to capture awesome clear pics in motion. The best part is the AA batteries used to power the camera. Never have to worry about having to charge the batteries especially in a foreign country. This Camera is truly a winner.
Summary: This is a very good camera. It has alot of features and its pretty easy to operate. It does have a "bigger" screen on the back to preview pictures after the photos are taken. The only dislike I have is the zoom button being on the top, I am not used to it as my other camera wasnt like that, however in time I am sure that I will grow to like it.
I am very pleased with my camera purchase and highly recommend it.

Summary: I love my new camera. It takes very high quality pictures for a great value. I have the option of auto or can play with settings which keeps photography fun. I do find that the auto setting is a smart choice in most cases. I also can push the zoom to the max and get crystal clear shots of not only the subject but the background comes out just as clear. The only slightly negative is it takes AA batteries and I am still searching for the best solution for battery life.
Excerpt: We purchased this camera while we were vactioning in Orlando at Disney World last March. Our other digital camera (Sony) had Lens Shutter errors and wouldn't work. We found this SX130 on clearance at Walmart for $198.00 and saved our vacation picture taking! I love how sharp the pictures are, the quality of video recording, and how long my rechageable batteries last! I would HIGHLY recommend this camera to anyone!

Canon PowerShot SX130IS - glad I dropped the old camera now ;)

Excerpt: Well, I dropped our old faithful, set out to buy another one just like it, but the lady at Walmart said they didn't carry it anymore...devasted, we loved that old Canon. Started researching on where to buy another one, came across Canon's website and alas, found the Canon PowerShot SX130IS - more bells and whistles, better camera, more upgraded technology - same price as the old one - duh. OK, Walmart just got it in and the clerk bought one, it's AMAZING, she says, one...
Excerpt: I got the Canon PowerShot SX130 IS Digital Camera a few months ago, and I love it sooo much! For the price, I really think it's one of the best out there! I know that Canon is a really reputable brand, and so far it's lived up to it's name for me! It has so many different fun settings, such as the fish-eye effect and miniature settings. It has a flash that you manually pop up or down, and the camera has lots of helpful suggestions while you're using it.
Excerpt: I recently purchased the Canon PowerShot SX130 IS Digital Camera for myself and i started taking pictures with it immediately and i was very impressed with the picture quality. The more pictures I took the more I loved this camera. Then i started playing with the twelve times optical zoom feature and I was even more impressed the clarity was still just like you were not zooming. The pictures are not grainny, fuzzy,or hard to makeout at all.
Excerpt: I have owned the Canon SX130IS Digital Camera for around a month now. The camera is fantastic! It takes very nice pictures, color is very true, the image stabilization, in my opinion, works well, and it is simple to use. In fact, I usually just leave it in the "Auto" mode because it automatically chooses the settings very well and takes great pictures.
