Summary: I thought having this camera would be great since it takes normal batteries. I was wrong. The batteries died so quickly and it would take way to long before i could take the next picture. We ended up returning it because i was not going to work with having kids who only give you a 2 second window to take a picture.
Summary: This is a tough call for me, as I 've used Cannon products for years, and own two of their film SLR cameras that I've had little trouble with in 15 years. I mostly photograph with film. When I decided to get a digital camera, I had a lot of very specific criteria I was looking for, and I did a lot of research. Indeed, not finding any camera that met these criteria kept me from "going digital" for several years.
Summary: This is the best camera I have ever owned. The zoom lens works wonderfully. I am involved in a lot of organizations and evertime cameras come out for group pictures everyone always wants to use my camera for the best pictures.
Excerpt: I have really enjoyed this camera since I got it as a birthday gift from my family. Takes great quality pictures. If you use regular AA batteries, it will drain them in no time, so keep extras handy. Overall I love this camera!

Excerpt: This camera is not for the clumsy! I am very accident prone and dropped my first camera on the gorund while outside. The camera didn't smash or appear broken, but the flash started making a ticking noise as well as the zoom/lens was a little off center. I suppose had it fallen when the camera was off, the lens may not have tilted as badly! I love the quality of the pictures though!

Excerpt: This Canon Power-Shot sx110 is takes nice pictures and it snaps pictures quicker than other cameras I've had. In the past I missed a lot of good shots with my first child because the digital camera was so slow once I clicked the button. With the Canon Power-Shot I'm able to get the picture before my little ones turn their head. The only thing that has been difficult for me is learning how to use the many settings.
Excerpt: The Canon SX110IS has been a great addition to my "collection". Being a former professional photographer, I am quite picky about my point-and-shoot cameras. I have been a loyal Canon user for 19 years, convinced of their superior design and customer service in my photojournalist days. When my previous point-and-shoot was lost (by my teenage son at the Presidential Inauguration!) I resorted to using my professional cameras for family photos, etc.
Excerpt: The Canon Powershot SX110IS is a fantastic camera that takes very good pictures. It has excellent zoom capabilities and with an optical zoom of 10x, you can shoot just about anything at a distance. The 9 megapixels ensures that you can get great-quality photos, even if you decide to enlarge them. I recently used video function and was unbelievably surprised at the quality of the video when I played it (after downloading) on my computer. The only thing that I find...
