Excerpt: Had bought this before the birth of my first child in may 2010. It has been a great experience. We just love it. it has helped capture many unforgetable memories. i even carried it to india for my vacation. would always recommend it to all!!!!
Excerpt: i have never had a camera this good!!! i have the black one, i got it at my baby shower and have been loving it for 8 months. it takes crisp, clear pictures almost every time!!! this camera makes my pics look professional. the functions are easy to use too! my favorite is the color accent function! i think this camera also has a underwater case that you can but extra. don't have it yet, but that would be sooo cool!!
Canon PowerShot SD comes recommended by Consumer Reports

Excerpt: I started looking for a camera by looking at the reviews from Consumer Reports. What impressed me about it was the high ratings it received from them and its simultaneously affordable price tag. I ordered it immediately and have been nothing but impressed. My favorite features are the 4x zoom, which is great for a camera of it's size and cost. The 12.1 megapixels give such clarity and sharpness to the pictures.
Excerpt: As far as point and shoot cameras are considered - Canon is the best. They are easy to use, have a lot of functions (if you want to use them, otherwise there is always AUTO) - and do the job really well. I have owned several cameras before I decided to stick with Canon - and all of them were disappointments. Canon is very small - about the size of the iPhone, and take amazing pictures for that itsy bitsy size!
Excerpt: First, I must admit that I am no expert photographer. i only use the camera to record vacations, family events and other everyday stuff. I am very happy with my Canon camera, though. I have not really tried a lot of different features on it. Most of the time I just leave the settings on automatic. Surprisingly enough the pictures are coming out great. So it can be said that this camera is pretty much idiot proof.
Excerpt: I started with a Canon SD600, but my viewing screen was ruined. I actually bought this one as a deal on Black Friday. I love a deal and this is certainly a deal. For a point and shoot, I think Canon has the best cameras. I love how clear it looks! There are so many functions you can play with before you start shooting. I love the night setting which is the only function that makes pictures look realistic at night.
Love this camera! Small, convenient...what more do you need??

Excerpt: Awesome point and shoot! Very small and convenient camera that takes great outside shots and pretty good indoor pics too. Quick to operate and easy to handle, but not too great for action shots...but what similarly priced camera is?!?! This camera actually takes outstanding landscape shots and is really good at picking up blues. Video is very handy and clear...perfect for quick uploads to youtube or facebook! I've already ordered a second one!
Excerpt: We bought this camera a few months ago and absolutely love it. It's a great size with tons of different picture taking options. We are only recreational photographers (home & family) and this camera's options suits all our needs. The resolution and quality of the photos is great for blogs, printing, etc. It's easy to use and manipulate. One thing I did not like is that it didn't come with a carry case. We spent $12 on a generic one after we bought the camera.
Excerpt: The Canon Powershot SD940 truly is the perfect camera I would have to say. It's small so it fits easily into pockets and purses, and it takes great pictures! It's so easy to use. I didn't have any problems with figuring out how to change settings or modes. It's great for when you are traveling because it doesn't take up much room, and it's so easy to get quick, great photos.
Excerpt: I just purchased the Canon Powershot SD940. The good quality and performance of this camera is consistent with Canon's line of compact point and shoot cameras. The SD940 is smaller compared to the SD1300 which I also have. You can keep it in your pocket at all times and forget it's there. The corners are rounded and have a smooth finish. The large view screen covers much of the back side of the camera. The large megapixel is sufficient for enlargements up to 16 x 20.
