BEST CMARA I'VE EVER HAD!
9 September 2012
Excerpt: i have never had a camera this good!!! i have the black one, i got it at my baby shower and have been loving it for 8 months. it takes crisp, clear pictures almost every time!!! this camera makes my pics look professional. the functions are easy to use too! my favorite is the color accent function! i think this camera also has a underwater case that you can but extra. don't have it yet, but that would be sooo cool!!
Canon PowerShot SD940 - good for video, not so much for photos
9 September 2012
Excerpt: This takes really nice videos but I wasn't too impressed with the photo quality. The colors are very cool toned, the flash is too harsh, and the images are a little too sharp. They video quality is great though, very crisp and clear.
Excerpt: Had bought this before the birth of my first child in may 2010. It has been a great experience. We just love it. it has helped capture many unforgetable memories. i even carried it to india for my vacation. would always recommend it to all!!!!
Excerpt: As far as point and shoot cameras are considered - Canon is the best. They are easy to use, have a lot of functions (if you want to use them, otherwise there is always AUTO) - and do the job really well. I have owned several cameras before I decided to stick with Canon - and all of them were disappointments. Canon is very small - about the size of the iPhone, and take amazing pictures for that itsy bitsy size!
Excerpt: I love this camera for its size and ease of use. It takes great high resolution photos, can also zoom in better than comparable cameras. The only down side is that sometimes when using flash camera slows down.
Excerpt: Works great most of the time. I have had some problems figuring out the right option to use for dimly lit indoor shots and night shots. This may be due to user error though. Tiny and perfect to take with me everywhere.
Excerpt: First, I must admit that I am no expert photographer. i only use the camera to record vacations, family events and other everyday stuff. I am very happy with my Canon camera, though. I have not really tried a lot of different features on it. Most of the time I just leave the settings on automatic. Surprisingly enough the pictures are coming out great. So it can be said that this camera is pretty much idiot proof.
Excerpt: I started with a Canon SD600, but my viewing screen was ruined. I actually bought this one as a deal on Black Friday. I love a deal and this is certainly a deal. For a point and shoot, I think Canon has the best cameras. I love how clear it looks! There are so many functions you can play with before you start shooting. I love the night setting which is the only function that makes pictures look realistic at night.
Excerpt: I had a really hard time with this camera. Some of the pictures turned out beautiful but more than that they were blury. Sometimes you didn't notice the blurry parts of the picture when you reviewed them, but when you printed the pictures there were the blurry parts. I was really disappointed and this was the camera I saved for and wanted so badly. Needless to say I don't have it anymore.
Canon Powershot is a good alternative to pricey models.

Excerpt: I purchased the Canon Powershot for classroom use. I needed something that would be user-friendly so that my students could use it. It also needed to be sturdy enough to withstand use by 100+ sixth graders year after year! I was given a grant to purchase this camera and had enough left over to also get the extended warranty (3 years). haven't had to use the warranty one time.
