Could possibly be the best small digital camera model on the market.

Summary: I bought this model new many years ago and have taken thousands of pictures with it. Above water and below. This model is the camera I bought my underwater case for so I decided I needed a backup in case my old tried and true camera finally gave up the ghost.
Summary: I've had this camera at least 5 years now, likely more. What have I replaced? Nothing. What has gone wrong? Not a thing. How hard was it to learn how to use - for a career photographer raised on film cameras and Nikons in specific? Not one bit.
Summary: I bought this product to provide family members with cameras. Solid metal body with weight. Takes great pictures, but the controls on the back are not as user freindly as I would have hoped. Great battery life.
Huge viewing screen camera with high quality photo's for a reasonable price

Summary: This is an excellent product for a medium pixel "point and shoot camera. The all metal shell is rugged and impervious to minor abuse. It will provide you with a lifetime of photo memory's for a fraction of the cost of any comparable camera.
Even used, the Canon SD790 IS is a remarkable little camera

Summary: The SD790 is one of the best small digital cameras Canon ever produced. It has a metal, not plastic, frame and that drew me in. I wanted one right from the start for quick shots but could not afford it. So I bided my time.
