With a 7.1 megapixel CCD, capturing image details is no hassle especially if these will be used for 15 x 20 inch prints. The camera has a face detection technology as well as a DIGIC III image processor. It too has ISO 1600 and High ISO auto. In addition, it has a three PureColor LCD with 3x optical zoom. Its lens type is zoom lens and it has a built-in flash.
Canon’s PowerShot SD750 has a red-eye reduction technology and a frame movie shooting mode. In addition, it has that TFT active matrix display technology and JPEG image type. It does not have a viewfinder but it has a microphone audio input. Various exposure control types such as digital macro, underwater, foliage, beach, and others can be selected. The same thing can also be done with the input special effects for the videos.
The Canon PowerShot SD750 is the new ELPH model released by Canon in 2007. Known as just a good camera, the Canon PowerShot SD750 features a 3.0-inch “PureColor” Multi-level LCD display, 10 scene modes, a 7-megapixels of resolution, a 3x optical zoom lens, and a VGA sized movie mode and also not to forget Canon’s new Face Detection AF/AE/FE technology. Pictures shot with the Canon PowerShot SD750 are simply appealing to many photographers with its deep clarity, sharpness and clear colors. Many of the Canon fans appreciate the fact that the Canon PowerShot SD750 is nicely designed with an excellent high-ISO photo quality and above-average movie quality. Along with that, it’s relatively fast and its face detection system is simply amazing. A certain feature named the ‘color accent’ is the favorite feature of many of its users as it simply takes excellent pictures. They also like its fast usage system which allows the quickest way to take a shot and it takes no more than 2 seconds simply turn on the flash if ever needed. A CNET reviewer had this to say about the camera, “It lacks the image stabilization of the SD800 IS and the tiny appeal of the SD1000, but the Canon PowerShot SD750 has a more elegant, cutting-edge design, large LCD and—to my eyes, at least—better photo quality.” While some users don’t like a few features with the Canon PowerShot SD750, firstly, the photos tend to have purple fringing and secondly, there’s no optical viewfinder. Some commented that the menu and the tool bars are not the easiest to navigate and the buttons too can be confusing. Despite that, on the whole, the Canon PowerShot SD750 is known to be a great product and that includes the ease of using it. It helps a lot when the pictures taken with it looks great.
Canon’s iconic ELPH design achieves a stunning new evolution with the PowerShot SD750 Digital ELPH. Utterly simple edge lines and cut surfaces gleam subtly with high-grade finishes; now offered in …
The new aesthetics (silver and silver with black accents, elegant, cutting-edge design and large LCD) from Canon first gives me a good impression, but I miss the viewfinder (it was present at Ixus 70 (SD 1000). Also it lacks the image stabilization of the SD800 IS. A new Time Lapse Movie function allows a scene of two hours duration to be condensed to a fluid eight minute or four minute movie file, obtaining very stunning effects. A new Auto ISO Shift function prevent... Read more
In the end, the SD750 is a convenient digital camera that takes high-quality pictures and comes with an enormous 3-inch LCD screen. The LCD bumps up the retail price by $50, which may be too much for some to justify. The SD1000 has the same great performance, but with a smaller LCD and lower price. The cheapskate in me chooses the SD1000, but my eyes lust after the big screen on the Canon PowerShot SD750. Read more
The Canon PowerShot SD750 almost qualifies as a flat screen TV with its 0.77-inch width and enormous 3-inch LCD screen. The features are otherwise fairly basic: 7.1 megapixels, a 3x optical zoom lens, and automatic exposure modes that make the SD750 very easy to use. Read more

The Canon PowerShot SD750 Digital ELPH is one of the prettiest cameras I've had the pleasure to review. And it was indeed a pleasure. The Canon SD750's fast startup and shutdown times never got in the way, and the responsive shutter made me forget all about shutter lag. I even had some fun shooting with the Canon SD750's Digital Macro mode, and more fun shooting a tank of fish using Aquarium Scene mode. Read more

I bought this camera and sent to my family in India, after taking out the SD card 4-5 times, it has started giving the error "Memory card locked". It was not the SD card problem as we have tried using other memory card which were working perfectly on other cameras. After searching on internet, we found that there is a hardware problem with this series where it reset the memory card lock reader in the camera. It sucks, as I have purchased this from USA the warranty is ... Read more
I recently lost my canon sd750 (which i bought when it first came out) on a trip and set out to buy a new camera. I looked at the new sd790 but was disappointed with it. The design was nice but I still think the sd750 tops it. While you are recording avideo, you can zoom in while the sd790 doesnt. The picture quality ion the sd750 is awesome.. The battery lasts a long time, the 3' lcd is especially nice. I am not a professional photograher but this camera is easy to u... Read more
Much worse picture quality than old sd500. Compare carefully before buying. I don't know what all these other great reviews are about. They must not own any prior Canon. Read more
Best point and shoot I've ever used, whether your a pro with no time to whip out the big SLR or a child carrying it in their pocket, this is for you. Easy to use, high resolution, great shots. only sub-par thing is the poor night shot taking. Best non-SLR you will ever use. Read more
