Summary: The camera has been very useful and reliable for the past 7 months or so, good photos and the IS system is extremely useful especially when taking night time shots without a flash! HOWEVER i have had a constant problem with the lens, sometimes it would not retract and sometimes it would, sometimes it would not come out, and sometimes it would. Now having had it for not even a year the lens is stuck and will not retract at all.
Summary: I owned this camera for almost 6 months now. I tried almost all settings and possible manual and automatic settings but I still get blurry pictures. I bought this after seeing my friend's photos with an elder model of Canon but this has been a great disappointment. Yea it it takes some good pictures but many bad ones. The nice strong body, long battery life and different image settings are worth nothing if you end up with a bad picture.
Very disappointed with this camera and with Amazon

Summary: Unfortunately I'm very disappointed with this camera as I thought I was buying a very good one. Two in every ten photos seems to come out blurry or dark even worse than our old Olimpus (2 Megapixels) which never took a blurry photo. Then to make things worse when I tried to return the camera I couldn't print the return label on the first attempt and when I tried for a second time the label didn't even appear.
