Canon PowerShot SD630 IXUS 65 is a seven mega pixel, point and shoot digital camera in the IXUS range. This compact product fits comfortably in a trouser pocket. IXUS 65 is almost identical to the IXUS60 model. The major difference is the 3 inch LCD fitted to the IXUS 65.The bigger screen accommodated in this sleek model, results in reduced room for camera operation controls. This makes operation cumbersome, particularly for people with large hands. CNet UK review states that photos are pleasing at low ISO range. At ISO 80, pictures were very clear. The camera can give reasonably good pictures up to ISO 800. This is better than most cameras of the same size.

The review talks about the large LCD screen for framing the shot as a major additional feature. The controls at the back include a four-way and OK control pad, and a button for printing when connected to a compatible printer. The control pad allows selection from the menu system through easy navigation. The pad also allows direct selection of major functions by nudging. The Think Camera review reveals that the IXUS 65 is the first model in IXUS series without an optical view finder. The review also compliments the picture quality. On the negative side, it says, using flash in the camera may result in slight color shift. The review states further that the finish of the camera is not very pleasing, when compared with the trend in other canon models. Competing models in this range are equipped with image stabilization features, not available in IXUS 65. Reviews from Lets go digital indicate that IXUS 65 can produce quality pictures up to ISO 400 and usable picture at ISO 800. The review says that the large LCD screen with a three-inch diameter, is quite comfortable for image viewing.
