Great camera if you get a good lens

  • Excerpt: I love my XSI. I really shopped around before I bought it and I'm glad I did. I was constantly leaning towards it anyway, as I still have my old film rebel that I bought ages ago and love it dearly. I should mention I only bought the XSI body and then got a good deal on a better lens (Canon EF 28-200mm). The combination is outstanding. I love playing with my camera and all it's settings.

A serious camera

  • Excerpt: I upgraded from a Rebel XT to the Rebel XSi in search of two things:  higher resolution and a bigger LCD, and what I got was a camera that was infinitely more usable.  The form factor is more comfortable.  The change from CF to SD for memory makes everything more convenient.  And the photos that come out are more balanced. If I were buying now, I'd be looking for video, but when I purchased my XSi, I am convinced that it was the best camera available in that price range.

WON'T MISS YOUR FILM CAMERA

  • Excerpt: Man what a great camera. Fifteen or so years ago I bought the Minolta Maxxum 7000i. Top of the line camera made in japan. Four years ago I stayed with minolta and bought the maxxum 7xi, made in China. What a piece of junk. After the bad 7xi I thought I would never find a good quality camera. Well canan has made me wrong. This camera is great.  Added a 80-250 zoom. I love it.

  • Excerpt: I totally love my canon powershot SD 450.   it is 5.0 Mega pixels, has red eye reduction, very compact..tiny little thing, thats why I love it.  It has a large screen on back so you can see the "WHOLE" picture.

Awesome camera that fits into your pocket or purse.

  • Excerpt: I was very impressed of the small package of this camera and still have quality photos come out of it.  Fits easily in a pocket or a purse, and can be straped around your hand or around your neck with included straps.  The menu system is very easy to navigate.  In less than 10 minutes I was up and running taking valuable photos for our memories.

I have upgraded from a previous model and wouldn't look back!

Easy to use, but eats batteries

  • Excerpt: I bought the cannon powershot about a year ago and haven't had any problems with it at all other then it eats batteries and the shutter speed seems a bit slow. The pictures are nice and clear with great color, interface with the computer makes it easy to download pictures. It's just and easy to use camera that I'm happy to own.

Slim and trim

  • Excerpt: The Canon PowerShot SD450 is the best digital cameral I've ever had.  In fact, my first was stolen and I went right out and bought another.  It's so easy to carry around - I have it on the strap of my purse so that it's with me all the time.  No excuse for not being able to capture that extraordinary moment with the pets or grandkids.
