It has a great manual setting where you are able to adjust the exposure, shutter speed etc. I use this as my casual camera and carry it all the time. It serves it's purpose well!

Excerpt: I bought this a year ago and love it! It's great portable camera. WHen you want great pictures, but don't want to lug around a really fancy camera, this is a great option with pictures that don't suffer. Excerpt: I bought this a couple of years ago when i first got married. My wife and I love to travel, and this was a great thing for our trips. The battery lasts a long time, and I have had no problems. Plenty of storage, though you might want to get a 1GB or 2GB memory card to store more photos. Always be sure to plug in the power adaptor when transferring photos to save the battery life.
