Summary: I have just thrown 2 Canon digital cameras in the trash. The newest camera was just 16 months old, when I got the deadly "lens error" message. See all the other information out there about this huge problem. After multiple phone calls to Canon, I got absolutely no satisfaction.
DISAPPOINTED (will not purchase items from this seller again)

Summary: I received my camera just yesterday and was ecstatic as I had been waiting for it to arrive. When I opened the box I was so excited to use it and then noticed the charger was missing and so was the USB Interface Cable IFC-400PCU. It was a red flag.
coplaint damaged item was shipped from amazon to customer

Summary: I received a camera as a wedding gift from my friend who purchased the camera from Amazon to my dismay when I opened up the box I was shocked to see the brand new camera never used had physical damage which was shipped this way from Amazon.

Summary: Avoid buying CANON cameras, especially this model. The LCD screen broke during normal use, apparently a known issue, and the lens motor also died within one year of purchase. We were quoted a zero-cost repair since the camera was less than a year old, and that the repaired camera would be returned...
Summary: There's nothing wrong with this camera per se. I bet a lot of people would love it. It was recommended to me by professional photographers. But I haaaaaaate it! It's awkward to hold, the photos always come out a little fuzzy unless I set it on something (I don't have a tripod and this camera is so...
Summary: I looked at lots of cameras before purchasing the Canon PowerShot SD1400IS 14.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Wide Angle Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD (Black). My husband wanted something around $200. The reviews sounded really good. We bought this camera and I took it to D.C.
