Power
Canon PowerShot SD1100 IS is powered by a rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery NB-4L which can be recharged through AC Adapter Kit ACK-DC10 (optional). With a fully charged battery you should be able to take approx. 240 shots (NB-4L) of still images.

Very fast turn-on and very little shutter lag. Multiple resolution choices to match SD card size (small or large) and need for detail. Took it on a trip to France. Took great pictures indoors with fairly low light and no flash.
