Good camera but I was sold one with a defect not stated on e-bay

sofbakalova, Ebay

  • Summary: This model is very good point and shoot camera with option for manual adjustments. My biggest frustration is that I bought it from e-bay as a used in mint condition but later (after the 30 days) I found out that the digital zoom is absolutely missing which means that it was refurbished. Now my zoom is very limited. It was too late to return it or get my money back. I don't think I will go and buy something else on e-Bay. Bottom line: the camera is good but buy it new.

Excellent picture clarity

  • Summary: The quality of the s95 pictures are great. Im comparing this to my point and shoot cameras and pics are a lot clearer here. Even the newer s models like s100 aren't as good as the s95.

  • Summary: This has been a wonderful camera with many great features. It allows you to program the settings or it will automatically focus for you. It is very user friendly for someone who isn't a knowledgeable photographer.

  • Excerpt: I've had this camera for over a year & have been incredibly satisfied with it. By this time I normally would have got rid of the camera for another more upgraded version, but I've been so pleased with it that I haven't felt the need. It is pretty much perfect as a point & shoot in my opinion. It is fast & discreet & you can really produce fine images with the RAW photos.

Great product! Worth getting it.

  • Summary: Since time I`ve my own CanonS95 and ordered these two Canon S95 cameras on ebay as gifts for my friends. The cameras are great, combining small size of camera with high quality of pictures and video. I think there is no better pocket camera than multifunctional Canon S95. The only thing is its sensative to humid climate. I would recommend this camera to everyone who is looking for amazing pictures and easy to use camera.

  • Excerpt: I bought the S95 because I wanted a pocketable camera and I must say this little thing has been enormously pleasurable to use, small, discrete, reliable, fast, ever ready. JPEGS are fine for a compact and you can tune the camera settings to your liking. Since I bought it I left my DSLR on the shelve and deciding to use it and take it with me requires now a strong intellectual effort, that is what really am I expecting from photography, pixel quality and endless pp's, or...

  • Excerpt: The Canon S95 is a nice camera for your pocket. It could be called a "pro Ixus" because it has similar size and weight but offers manual control you want as a more enthusiastic photographer. The lens ring is a nice feature not many cameras offer. The lens is fast at the wide end, not so much at the longer end but for shooting indoors F2 comes pretty handy and normally you need more wide-angle indoors than telephoto range.

Great camera with some flaws

  • Excerpt: I really like this camrea. IT does great outdoor photos but there are a couple of minor flaws when indoors. When indoors it sometimes  takes very yellowy pictures.  It also is very slow at taking a picture it seems like a long time from when you hold down the butten and the photo is actually taken. I also tend to get lots of blurry pictures. Again great pictures outdoors but we are looking for a new camera for our indoor shots!

  • Excerpt: Me and my spouse are actually in the market for a new camera this holiday season.  we will be up grading from a kodak that is alittle sluggish from the time you shoot the pic and the time it actually takes the image.  This camera was allowed to be taken home for the evening for a trial and we were amazed at the clarity, light weight, and the overall speed and clarity.  It is phenomenial and wecant wait to buy it tomorrow.
