Excerpt: I’ve had my share of digital cameras over the years, I currently have a Canon Powershot S2 IS, which I bought a couple of years ago, and I must say, it’s the best Digital Camera I’ve had to date.
Summary: This was bought to replace a dead S1 in a photobooth environment. Working s1s seem to be unavailable anymore. The booth software only works with a limited series of cameras. For it's intended use this model is fine, the quality is sufficient, and the price is reasonable.
Summary: I bought this camera to replace one that was stolen from me. I love this camera. Works very well and one of the best things is that it has a view finder as well as a screen. This camera takes excellent pictures and is extremely easy to use.
My Cannon S2 IS is all I need for taking quality pictures.

Summary: As an amateur photographer, I am quite pleased with the S2 IS since it has enough user features that I found to be helpful if I needed to do something special. I typically use the camera with a wide angle lens and then crop out any unneeded sections on my computer.
Summary: This is a great machine. I used one (I purchased new) for several years, and you just cant beat the picture quality in a point and shoot camera. I got this one for my wife and she just loves it. Simple to use on auto or you choose the settings. Easy access video- Great stereo sound built in.
Summary: I love this camera. I have used it at softball games, hockey, family gatherings, and it has given me plenty of quality photos. I'm new to the fancy cameras so i'm still learing all the gadgets. But so far it has been great to me.
Excerpt: Up to now, a great digital camera (my first one, after some 35mm SLR), for a reasonable price. Full of resources - several adjust settings, a 'digital-optical' viewfinder and a LCD that you can move (ok...it´s just 1.8"). Ohh....the big zoom lenses and the stabilization system really works.
Summary: great camera. Battery life is a problem with this model. My double A's last up to 100 pics, making this camera use abit $$$. But the pictures are worth it. keep plenty of extra batteries available.
