Summary: Cons: It takes 2-3 seconds to save a picture onto the fastest SDXC card - pretty annoying. Left hand tends to block a pop-up flash when holding a camera in both hands - it can easily break the flash. Cheap gray plastic finish instead of a silver aluminum like in the past. Bulky compact camera. Zoom ring around lens is a gimmick and is not needed. Pros: Better picture quality and faster focus in comparison with rest of the line of compact cameras.
Excerpt: Light and compact can't go wrong there. Image now there's a problem. This camera only could give you some decent photos during the day in bright sun light. I have tried nearly every setting for a decent photo and 2 outa 10 got a good shot. Auto white balance is not reliable, so don't us it and go for manual settings. The wifi is great i does work once you download the canon app. In video mode the zoom is super slow.
Summary: I purchased the Canon S95 for my mom several years back. It was a great camera and although she normally just uses it in auto-mode, the pictures are amazing quality. I recently was in the market for a similar small camera and thought I would try the new Canon S110 out. I was extremely disappointed at the low picture quality when snapping shots in auto. Things were blurry and out-of-focus.
Summary: False advertising on the WIFI. Purchased this model mainly because of the WIFI and have been very disappointed with how hard it is to setup. First off the package comes with a CD for install, out of our 3 computers in the house none have a CD player. Canon's website is not user friendly and after 30 minutes of downloading various files we still can't get the wifi to work, won't connect to our home network, printer, laptop.
Excerpt: In Av or Tv mode only time or aperture are displayed. I want both displayed to decide what I want from the shot. Higher ISO setting seem to make the picture grainier much faster than normal. Function Ring feels very cheap.
Daher: NEIN DANKE!!
