  • Excerpt: Wow!! Takes great quality of pictures!! Love the size and the compact feel of the camera. I would have given it a five star but down fault on the camera I wish we had a option for the record button to display or not display. Overall awesome camera Canon!

Canon N is just to weird.

  • Excerpt: Both zoom ring and shutter release at difficult to use. Camera is difficult to hold and aim at subject. Takes good pictures and Wi-FI is easy to setup. Stabilization seems good. I wanted a camera that I cold carry in my pocket, and this camera is just too big.
  • Pros: Fast/accurate auto-focus, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Nice Body Color
  • Cons: No Viewfinder, Poor Flash

  • Pros: Easy To Use, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Nice Body Color, Short Lag Time, Small / Compact

I love this little camera

  • Excerpt: I almost always have a camera with me. The quick start manual had me worried because it sounded like a camera designed for the inept but the full manual on CD revised that opinion. This is a conveniently small camera but it is a full featured camera with an eight to one zoom and fairly good low light capability. From the first it took some very good pictures with it.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Fast/accurate auto-focus, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Nice Body Color, Short Lag Time, Small / Compact

User Review

Sandy Macduff, DP Review

  • Excerpt: I've had a Powershot N for 4 months now and I'm delighted with it. In about a third of the photos I take, the hinged LCD screen is very useful in getting away from the "standard adult eyeball"" height -- whether lower for photos of children or higher (inverted) above crowds. The lens quality, megapixel quantity and CCD quality are very good for a point-and-shoot, especially in terms of my needs, where I often crop heavily and need the "surviving" image to be good.

Fast,sharp but physical logistic problem

gotart, B&H Photo
30 August 2013
  • Excerpt: I would give this camera 5 stars- but the fact the adjusting the zoom and executing the shutter happens most of the time. The shutter release is too sensitive and just giving the zoom a small turn allows you to accidently release the shutter.<br />There is no way to turn off the manual shutter release. The touch monitor shutter release is far superior than the Nikon's and works really well. And it can be turned off. The zoom accuracy and sharpness is very good.
  • Pros: Fast/accurate auto-focus, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Great Zoom, Large Clear LCD, Nice Body Color, Short Lag Time, Small / Compact
  • Cons: Focus Beam Too Bright, Sensitive Dial Shutter
