Excerpt: If words could translate better to what real life use of cameras actually reveals, you may see reviews written a bit differently about some other cameras that are all the rage right now. The G16 is a classic example of a camera that may not have been too exciting when it was announced on tech sites and forums alike, but in real life use, small improvements shine.
Excerpt: Macro is my thing, and this camera does a wonderful job for a point and shoot. It's easy to carry when traveling light, and I get lots of compliments on my photos. People think I have a high-end DSLR. Love this baby!
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast/accurate auto-focus, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Great Zoom
Great camera, good above and below the water (in a case).

Summary: I had been comparing this camera to it's cousin, the S120. This beats it in features and I very pleased with my choice. Great camera for the price. Versatile and compact. Great image quality, fast continuous shot to shot times. Good image stabilization. Ok low light performance. Stock settings are pretty good for what they are. Battery life is ok, could be better. If I neglected to swap batteries, it would last 1.25 dives (with flash) - screen off to save power.
Excerpt: I was looking for a mirror less camera, but BH staff advised me that it would not satisfy my needs: a small camera with great results of pictures (I have already two DSLR cameras). So, the G16 was the best option for me: a great camera, with good price, heavy enough, with completely manual mode (if we want it). Also, it has a very light lens.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast/accurate auto-focus, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Large Clear LCD, Small / Compact
