Summary: Yet another awesome camera in the Canon "G" series. I bought this one as an up grade from my Canon G9. Canon tweaked this camera out. One of my most used and fav features is the fact that the view screen can be rotated 180* I use this ALOT as I find my self shooting tons of picts that are up at an...
Summary: I had a digital Pentax ,pretty much alike , it was stolen and I moved to Canon every function works great I have it for some years and am very happy ,don't miss my Nikons HP,f2a,f2as,..... Excelent ,CANON !!!!
Summary: After long time I came across a camera that takes perfect pictures. At the full zoom including digital zoon X 11.8 the pictures are crystal clear. Just good can it be? I recommend anyone who is willing to buy a camera look for Canon PowerShot G11 10.0 Megapixel Digital Camera.
Summary: The Canon PowerShot G11 has turned out to be the all around point and shoot camera for my needs, including ability to shoot in raw, an articulating bright LCD screen, 10 megapixels, and a useful focal range. I find the menu easy with full manual and auto programs. I am very happy with this camera.
Summary: I simply couldn't go any longer borrowing cameras from friends and family for my travels and ebay listings, so I manned up and bought a Canon Powershot G12. I wanted a camera that I could bring out on a night on the town, or attach to a tripod for professional results.
Summary: I used to own a Digital SLR but was too bulky to carry around during vacations and even local trips. This is my first Canon in a long time and I am very impressed. The camera is an EXCELLENT choice if you don't want a Digital SLR or a standard point-and-shoot.
Summary: I need one camera for pocket size but I don't want to compromise too much on quality, shutter speed and sensitivity. I knew Canon G series were high end point-shot camera, I used to play G1 for a while. Canon G11 is matching with my exception.
Summary: The camera has a very fast - f2.8, high quality 5x zoom lens which is entirely adequate for most indoor pictures and less than slr distance outdoor pictures. Having the capability to shoot in raw format is a decided plus.
