Summary: I wanted a good point & shoot backup to my Canon EOS 5D's. The handsome and above average handling Canon PowerShot G10 fails to fill that spot.

Cons: I Owned G7, G9 and is saw now the G10 Photos they got worse with every generation from G7 on. G7 Photos are hi-detailed, contrasty, great colored, just like a small DS...
Pros: Great features -- but nothing that other camera makers can't do.
Cons: The thing that made the G series stand out for many iterations was that it combined high quality resolution, flash hot shoe, and good zoom with a Vari-Angle LCD screen.
