Very good pictures

Excerpt: Very good pictures. Have used TV, AP, Auto - all work as you would expect. A bit of a pain to put on electronic viewfinder - not from a difficulty standpoint but simply because you have to stop and do it. Wish I would have waited for the G5X.
Pros: Fast/accurate auto-focus, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Large Clear LCD
Excerpt: Needed a new camera on short notice, current one I owned failed. Did research as well as consulted Consumer Reports who gave high marks but had a lesser model as a first choice. I opted for this camera and am glad I did. Camera arrived 3 days before I took a 3 week trip to Alaska.
Pros: Easy To Use, Fast/accurate auto-focus, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Large Clear LCD
Excerpt: Previously only owned DSLRs and I wanted an advanced point and shoot to carry easily on vacations for easy schlepping and this only came close to my requirements. Not a pocket camera if you are looking for one but definitely a small one but quite heavy. Great pictures both outside and inside.
Pros: Easy To Use, Good Image Quality, Good Image Stabilization, Good in Low Light, Large Clear LCD
Cons: Lag / Shutter Delay, No Viewfinder, Short Battery Life
Summary: not a bad addition to the camera when given as a gift. the lenses definitely are a "one size fits all" kind of thing. they are of decent quality. something to play around with and learn how to use the different filters and lenses.
