Summary: Not the best Canon has to offer. I've been a fan of the ELPH series since it came out and this one just felt flat. My biggest disappointment was the Vivid Color Filter... it is just awful... too red and orangey. .. this was my favorite filter on my other ELPHs and sadly it felt short.
Summary: Infuriatingly, the battery died after being fully charged and our taking two pictures within a month after we got the camera. Also be aware that this camera has a smaller ("mini") memory card than previous versions, so you have to buy new memory cards to use it.
Like the case. The touch screen and image compression needs work

Summary: I like having a point-and-shoot camera on hand because I find my phone doesn't really replace a real camera. I've had previous versions of PowerShot cameras and, when my last died, I researched around and this camera looked and ideal replacement. Sadly, I returned the camera after a week of testing.
Summary: The camera itself is sturdy and looks nice. Big nice screen but the touch control is not great. Needs buttons cause I had to use my nail to change some settings because the arrows etc.. were tiny. But what counts the most in any camera, is the image quality. Well, the quality is BAD.
Summary: Good resolution, good image but I can not connect over Wi-Fi to download photos directly to Facebook and the battery runs out very quickly. Maybe someone can be useful without WI.FI without it works fine.
Summary: Before writing my review, I re-read the existing evaluations of the 530 HS. The opening paragraph written by "ceobob" could have been typed by me! The main reason for this purchase was the Wi-Fi.....What a headache! The camera takes O.K.
