Conclusion: I like everything about this camera except one: If you leave the battery in the camera it goes dead in only a few days, even when the camera is turned off. If you remove the battery after each use it holds its charge OK.
Summary: I was so excited to get this camera. Wi-Fi enabled, touch screen, 12x optical zoom, etc, etc. Can't say how disappointed I was after an hour of use. Touch screen is slow, touch screen accuracy was inaccurate, picture quality was no better than the small ELPH I'd been using for years. Canon usually makes terrific products. This one should have stayed on the drawing board a little longer. Tried it a few more days and returned it.
Summary: I went to local retailer to test run before buying, and I'm glad I did. Between me and the store clerk, we could barely operate the UI touch screen, never mind figure out the Wifi. Sorry, Canon but this one needs some work.
Summary: I spent 6 hours trying to get this camera to connect to my computer using the WiFi technology. Every time it said "Connection Failed". I am not a tech expert but I do have a lot of experience with digital cameras, computers and smartphones and I have never had as much trouble as this. My computer is brand new so it can not be because of old computer technology. The touch screen is very difficult to use and does not respond well at all.
