Touch screen is terrible

David Edelstein, Amazon
30 April 2014
  • Summary: Takes good pictures, but the touchscreen is terrible. It very inconsistent with accepting touches. I loved my old PowerShot and its directional pad, going to a touchscreen was not an upgrade in any way.

Touch screen ugh

Gene Reynolds, Amazon
4 January 2014
  • Summary: I thought I would like the touch screen, but I do not.. Would not buy this unless you want that feature. Wish I had bought a similar Canon with the toggle. Pictures are great, however.

OK camera

nash, Amazon
30 November 2013
  • Summary: Photos are i guess as expected for what you pay for. Night shots aren't that bad but aren't that great either. Never used the wireless feature because I can't be bothered to run software on a PC and all that. Just seems like too much work. Waiting for the day when my phone (iphone 5) could completely replace these point and shoot cameras.

  • Summary: Camera works well, but I don't like the touch screen. Hard to operate even though I don't have fat fingers. Exchanged for one without touch screen.

Hana Chang, Amazon
21 October 2013
  • Summary: The camera is good. Bought the "Red" camera for company use and received a flamingo pink camera. I suppose now there is not risk of anyone stealing it...

It's OK

Reviewer, Amazon
6 September 2013
  • Summary: I purchased this camera because I have an older elph and someone stole my crappy Nikon out of the car. I was so happy they stole that I purchased a newer better elph. The pictures are great but the screen is blurry. I had no problems with the user interface, connecting to my smartphone, or to the computer via wifi. Some folks are just not technically savvy. I don't know what it is either I, but I prefer my earlier elph for photos.

Great camera, Wi-Fi not so much

billday, Amazon
27 August 2013
  • Summary: This is my second Canon PowerShot. Great camera, but the WiFi aspect is a big disappointment. I worked on it for two hours, my stepdaughter (who I bought the camera for) worked on it for an hour, then we gave up. In this day and age, not acceptable!
