Conclusion: I purchased this camera to use with an iPad while travelling. However the Canon CameraWindow App that supports this on the iPad has never worked reliably and now works not at all. (IOS 6.1.3). This is very annoying and I can not see that Canon had responded to this problem which many others have reported (particularly user of IOS 7). Canon should provide a fix or some feedback to customers. I also wasted a lot of my time trying to solve and research (google) the problem.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable
Cons: Missing features/settings, Complicated controls/menu, ipad app stopped working
Summary: The battery of this camera sucks! I can't even take 20 minutes of video after it was fully charged. And it's slow to focus, can't take any action photos. Whenever it flashes, it takes also a second to save the picture to card. It always shows busy and you can't do anything with it. If possible I'd like to return it!
Summary: I bought this product while in the US and brought it back to Europe. The wifi is way too complicated to set up and it has in fact been impossible for met to get going - and while I am not a geek I am not totally lost either. It has not been possible for me to make the necessary registration of the product through the Canon Image Gateway software since the product is not sold where I am in Europe. Amazing Canon would launch such a frankly s***ty wifi-enabled product.
Summary: I am just amazed at the amount of stupidity that has gone into designing this camera. For starters, I thought I was buying a Wi-Fi-enabled camera to save myself from the hassle of being in front of my pc to download the pictures. Well, that's not the case. Assuming that you have been able to connect this camera to your Wi-Fi network properly (and that's a whole other story), as you take pictures, rather than being downloaded automatically, you have to do the following...
Summary: This camera did not have any instructions on how to access the wifi portion of the camera... Which was the only reason I got It. I sent it back and got the Samsung wifi camera, which is great.
Summary: I really wanted to like this camera having an Elph 110. What drew me to this product was the price and the WIFI capabilities. Didn't care about the touchscreen, as that only leaves smudges and I have enough "smart" screens/monitors to clean as it is. But I'm sending it back and this is why: After following the copious directions in the user manual, installing the software, connecting the camera via the USB cable, getting the latest versions of the software, signing up...
Summary: I have an advanced degree (doesn't mean anything, except good at following instructions) and I have so far tried for 3 hours to connect Wi Fi features and been unsuccessful. I think this is going back.
Pictures are okay, but don't expect anything else.

Summary: The WiFi functionality of this camera just does not work. Canon's apps that should allow you to transfer photos wireless from the camera to your smartphone don't work. If I was not so lazy, I'd return it.
Summary: We have been users of Canon Cameras for years - this is the first camera that we have had to call a true disaster. The Touch screen controls are constantly getting in the way of just point and click. Priority is given to the touch screen rather than the top shutter button. This is with the touch screen to shoot mode disabled. The camera is constantly trying to re-focus with every casual brush while handling to take the real shot.

Cons: Difficult to use, Short battery life, touch screen interferes with function
