  • Excerpt: I own this kind of camera for almost a year now, it was given to me by my husband. I was a envious of my friends water proof cameras it was another brand, we had lots of fine underwater pictures then. But when i had this Canon Powershot D10 it has amazing pictures, we had a lot and wonderful clear under water pictures and videos from our vacation, and its effects can make you feel artistic.

Lots of photographic fun for clumsy people like me!

  • Excerpt: The Canon Powershot D10 is both smart looking and smart in action. You can get going really quickly with it's simple set up, though do bear in mind when you are buying that you will need a memory card, which in most cases won't come with the camera as standard. The camera's various functions are simple to use and pretty intuitive, even for a non-nerd like me! The lcd is quite large and the buttons are clearly marked and simple to operate.

Canon D10 is perfect for my travel adventures

  • Excerpt: I purchased the Canon D10 camera as soon as it went on the market in the U.S.  It is exactly what I had been looking for - durable, water-resistant, resilient in extreme temperatures, and, of course, digital.  I took it to Antarctica, and never had a problem with it working.  I also took it to Greece, where it was 110, and it worked fine.  I have used it in the ocean.

Canon Powershot D10 perfect family camera

  • Excerpt: We bought the Canon Powershot D10 after our last Canon Powershot died. I did plenty of research about this camera before I ended up getting this. I completely love how it is waterproof, shockproof and freezeproof. Also, it is toddler-proof! My last camera ended up getting dropped by my toddler, which was important that I found this one that had the nice case around it.

Photography Review
12 July 2010
  • Summary: Outstanding little camera. Easy to schlep around, feels good in hands. Takes good pictures outside or underwater. Also take quick time videos.
  • Pros: Good quality pictures specially under water. I wont say it take professional underwater shot, but good enough to brag about., Rugged, my son dropped it twice and nothing happened to it.
  • Cons: No manual nor A mode, kinda sucks, bit grainy indoors. no cover for the front lens element, though it looks like a submarine window.

  • Excerpt: Excellent inexpensive camera. I initially purchased this camera for it's underwater feature only and figured I could use my other camera for everything else. After seeing how clear ALL of the pics turned out, I've used it as an everyday camera. The camera's video mode is quite nice too. I recorded the entire "changing of the guards" at Arlington Cemetery and it was crisp and clear.
