Summary: I had another camera like this that quit working after many years of use. I really like the size of this camera and the fact that there is a view finder. I do not like to use the screen to take photos. I am looking forward to many years of picture taking with this camera.
Should be the only digital camera I will ever need.

Summary: Great camera for my purposes and not so overloaded with bells and whistles to take a PhD to tackle. Very simple to use and even though it did not come from seller with user guide I printed one from the internet.
Summary: I've had great luck with these old Canon PowerShot cameras. They're real bricks in size but the ability to change out the batteries more than makes up for the size difference in newer models while 5MP is enough for my purposes; I'm an old guy so I've got pockets in my pants big enough for the A95. They feature a swing out, tilt adjustable viewer which is a great help in taking candid photographs, especially ones over your head.
Excerpt: I love this camera. I left it outside over night in the woods and it survived even though there was dew on it. It has been beat up, it has dents in it and it survived. It does however have the infamous E18 error that these commonly have. I blame this on my abuse of the camera, not the camera intself. It did not start acting up until I used it very heavily after 3 years. Overall it is a great camera.
Excerpt: This is by far the best digital camera we have owned! We have had it for several years and never had any problems or error readings. It never takes a bad picture. In fact, it takes better pictures with available light than with flash in many instances. Macro and close up shots are crisp and clean. We take a lot of garden shots and the blossom colors are just spectacular on these photos.
Summary: I bought my original PowerShot A95 in 2005. It recently stopped working after I dropped it (in its case). It was a good trusty camera and I used it for work on a regular basis. The best feature: the flexible viewfinder. No other cameras have this today. I can take photos over my head in a crowd, over a fence, you name it! I was so happy to find the exact replacement camera on EBAY. The camera works well and it feels great to have the same familiar model.
Summary: The camera is very toughly built. Flip screen let my students see themself before they are captured.5mp doesn't take up too much space in a card. this is my third camera of the same model.Used one is very inexpensive . I use in art room and my camera is always covered with paint, It is very reliable camera.
Summary: This is the second time I have provided a review of the Canon Powershot A95 that I purchased a few weeks ago. I am very satisfied with my purchase. It was shipped promptly and packed very well to avaoid any damage when shipped. I previously owned a Canon Powershot A95 and really like the camera and the program.
Canon A95 digital camera - 5 MP with flip out screen

Summary: Canon produces an excellent camera. A real workhorse. This one has a known defect wherein the image sensor goes wacky and produces rose-tinted, blurred images. Canon will replace the sensor for free if you have the serial number and original purchase date. Really love the flip out screen. Sad that the new ones don't retain that feature. I have the waterproof housing and have used it to take stunning underwater pics all over the world.
