Summary: Love this old camera. I purchased this new back in '08 for $250 in Best Buy and got 2 SD cards at $25 bucks each. I took it on a 6 month trip to New Zealand and a 16 MP camera was the bomb! I actually printed out some of the pics from that trip/had them enlarged and framed to hang in my apartment.
Excerpt: Its a nice Camera with Case and SDcard free. Canon PowerShot A810 for example. It's a high resolution, slim camera with a decent zoom lens that sits flush in the body. It has a reasonable size screen on the back and isn't too big in overall dimensions.
Excerpt: For a $30 camera it's wonderful. I agree that it has ALOT of noise. It's slower than a DSLR, but what do you expect? IT'S NOT A DSLR! I love the fact that it takes AA Batteries, it makes it a very good backup camera (because the quality still kicks the butt of 90+% of cell phone cameras...
Summary: I purchased this camera for my wife as a mother's day gift. She uses it primarily to photograph items for sale on Ebay and she really seems to like it. It is simple to use and takes crisp and clear pictures. The image stabilization feature is terrific and she likes that it uses aa batteries.
Summary: I bought this camera to replace my stolen Canon Elph. I don't think the pictures are quite as nice, and you will need batteries after about 20 shots with flash. Actually have this up for sale, and have already replaced with a rechargeable Canon product.
