Summary: I got this camera used to replace a Fuji that acts like it is about done. It is an old model with only 10 mega pixels but it takes nice pictures. The screen is a bit hard to see in bright light but not so much that you can't see what you are trying to shoot. Options on it are not many but for most uses it does fine.
Summary: I love the compact size of the camera we bought for our Grandson. I also appreciate the rechargeable batteries....especially for him. The picture quality is very good. Overall, I'm very pleased with this camera.
Summary: Living in Alaska and traveling to remote sites without power requires a camera I can tuck into the life jacket with several sets of extra batteries. The only thing not intuitive for me is the "fill flash" option. I like to use flash when the auto detector does not require it, I have had a tough time finding it. All else is easy, nice Canon quality, and so far has survived a few drops to the ground from waist height.
Summary: I ordered this camera because I'm not good with things like gadgets and cameras. I had trouble with my last camera because it offered too many choices and options and I needed more of a point and shoot that was easy to operate. I was happy to discover that this camera is indeed very simple and easy to operate, but my surprise was that when compared to photos taken by other folks at the same time...
Summary: I got this camera for my dad. He is able to take some really good photos with it. It is a little bulky compared to the Canon Elph line, but still can fit in a pocket. I chose it for the low price and was impressed by the image quality.
Summary: Got this camera to carry around and take good shots. My husband had gotten me an expensive, heavy camera that takes wonderful photos, but I could never figure it out. this solves that problem. Easy to use, fits in purse, takes regular batteries. Highly recommend.
Summary: This is not the first Canon Powershot digital camera I have owned. They are simple to use and versatile enough to handle most of my photographic needs. But then I am not a professional photographer either. If you are a Professional photographer, this is not the camera for you, for your grandchildren, perhaps. The settings are very easy to deal with and the photos seem to almost always come out with great color and detail.
Summary: I got the camera for my grandparents, who are forever using disposable cameras with of course less than quality outcomes. I was looking for something with ease of use, a real point-and-shoot type camera but good quality. So far, my grandparents love it and have even expanded past point and shoot and are now using zoom and video. They love it, I love it.
Summary: I am not the one using this camera but gave it as a gift to my daughter. She loves it. Works really well for a point and shoot. She likes that it takes AA batteries. Photos are clear and the screen on the back of the camera lets you see the photo very well after the photo is taken or when looking at all photos on the card. No cons found so far.
