Has the Features of Pricier Cameras With A Price Tag For You
9 September 2012
Excerpt: The Canon PowerShot A630 offers the features of more expensive cameras with a price you can afford. I've had mine for over a year now, and at the one year mark it has held up surprisingly well to little fingers, being dropped, and the works when you have little children around. However, smaller things are starting to go, and the manual can be a little challenging to figure out at times.
Excerpt: Pros : Easy to use for an amateur but also has many settings and whistles for the more experienced. Has a large lcd screen that can be swiveled closed to protect it when not in use. Cons: When using the lcd screen I find it hard to hold the camera still enough not to blur the picture. Also the memory card is in an inconvient place. Must open the battery compartment to get it out.
Excerpt: It is a very easy to use. Perfect for anyone that knows nothing about digital camera. It has a large view screen that rotates. I like this feature because when you use the movie feature it allows you to hold the camera above you head to record the images that you what and still be able to still see what you are recording.
Excerpt: Owned the first digital camera to hit the market eons ago and hated it! But when my husband suprised me this year with the Canon Power shot for Mother's Day, I hit the ground running and found this easy to understand and use. Can't wait to try more lenses!
Excerpt: I own this camera for over a year and quite satisfied with its performance, versatility and ease of use. It is loaded with plenty of features in a relatively compact body. It is faster than average camera in this price range. Most impressive is picture quality. There is only one thing I do not like - a relatively noisy zoom mechanism. Overall Canon A630 is a very good camera.
Excerpt: I received this Canon - PowerShot A630 Digital Camera as a gift several years ago for my birthday. Its still in great condition, and I use it constantly. The picture quality is very good and very clear. However, the video has a little to be desired, but for the price, I feel the quality is fair. The video looks fine on the camera, but if you download it to your computer or laptop and blow it up a little, it is quite blurry. This camera has so many functions.
Excerpt: This has been a good introduction for my first digital camera. I'm an amateur photographer and wanted one with lots of manual settings and the ability to switch lenses but did not want to pay the price for an SLR. I am very happy with this camera.
Excerpt: I have owned my Canon Powershot for a few years and am overall happy with it. It is the perfect size to throw in your bag for those moments that you just have to take a picture, you parents understand. It has many options when it comes to the type of picture you want to take: portrait, low light, landscape..but I find myself leaving it set on one mode for all my pictures. The screen is a generous size and shows a very clear picture.
Excerpt: The Canon Power Shot A630 (8 megapixals) has 12 settings, including short video clips. I haven't tried most of them, but I am very happy with the pictures--and software that comes with it. The only drawback, for me, is the lag time after taking a picture. At first I didn't think it would bother me.
