Excerpt: I got this camera for a digital photography class. It had all the features needed but is to big and bulky. I never use it because it is too much to carry around. You can get the same features in a smaller camera that is smaller and easier to manage.
Excerpt: i was given this camera as a gift 4 yrs ago, its very easy to operate, has many features that are easy to learn... my sister has a fancier model of the canon and she always asks me to bring my camera for the photo taking... she's had her camera for almost a yr now and still cant operate it! lol, my 7 yr old niece can use my camera its that nice... yes ok the picture quality is 8.0 the chips are sooo easy to use and install...
Excerpt: I've had this camera for a few years and had originally purchased it as one to use until I could get a nicer camera with focusing ability. This camera does give you a little bit of zoom and the ability to do an autoflash or turn the flash off, with several different settings for people, night time, foilage, etc. I've found that most of the pictures that I take when it is not on the auto setting come out very blurry.
Summary: I currently own a Canon A80 (which I love) and was interested in upgrading to the highly reviewed A630. I received the camera in time for Thanksgiving and took about 200 photos with it in a variety of conditions. Everything was great until I got home and downloaded my photos to the computer. About half of them were blurry... but worse, ALL of my indoor shots had a lot of noise.
